The long day had finally past and my freedom was almost hear, thoughts of Theo leaning against a tree with the sunrise behind him making his handsome form a silhouette in the beautiful scenery. How upset he was when i left the island and the way he held me with such longing and worry the more i thought of Theo the more i wanted to leave. Memory, Hue and Kiran came into my room quietly, Kiran had nothing with him for the journey when he seen me looking at him with wonder he set my mind at ease "I'm going to be apart of a new life, i see no purpose bring things from a past world" he was so Innocent. I nodded in response and Memory looked at me "its time" a smile came to our face's and relief and excitement filled my heart. Memory gave me a quick hug and was swimming out my window. Our plan was simple Memory would swim to the island and notify Theo that i was coming back, Hue would stay behind to convince the others that i had gone jellyfish hunting to prove my strength to Keith as his future wife, I would take Kiran when Memory got back to my room. Memory was a fast swimmer in just an hour she was back in my room "okay Miracle all is good enjoy your new life Hue and I will join you soon" we all smiled and i could still not believe this was happening. Theo i would be with him, in his arms, wrapped in love and happiness. I took Kiran's hand and we started our journey to the small island.
The swim there went as planed as we got closer to the island i could feel the transformation in my lung's looking over to Kiran i could see he was feeling it to "don't be afraid" the young boy's eye's met mine and he smiled "you will protect me right?" he was so concerned about the transformation "yes Kiran i will protect you" he smiled and before we new it our head's were above the water and the island was in sight. Theo was sitting on the waters edge just as he had when i seen him half a year ago. My speed increased and Kiran followed beside me not to long after a pain shot up my tail and i new the transformation had begun. Kiran looked at me and i gave him blue seaweed to ease the pain. "Kiran take a deep breath and hold it in" we were just about to resurface with the lungs of land dwellers Kiran did as instructed taking his hand again i pulled him up to the waters surface we broke through the wave's and Theo seen us he was on his feet and running to meet us. The damp sand was under our half transformed tails kiran looked at me then collapsed in the shallow water I looked down where his tail would be and there in it's place was leg's and feet his body had made the transformation but had his lung's. Theo reached us with Lu close behind Theo wrapped me in a worn out blanket as my vision went blurry the last thing i seen before the night disappeared was Kiran in Lu's arm's being taking into Theo's hut.
When i woke i was surrounded by the same walls as when i was five i laid there trying to remember what had happened. I moved my tail thinking it was still there but once again in it's place was long leg's and feet a smile came to my face as i pulled the blanket up off me feet...i have feet again! i had never been so happy to see feet before. Then i remembered Kiran, he had collapsed when we reached the shallow waters his tail had transformed but i was still unsure if he had adjusted to the air of the island. Just then the door opened and a familiar figure entered the room my vision was still not adjusted i laid back down and my eye's closed. When i woke again i looked to the door and on the floor beside my bed was the same boy as when i was five.."Theo" my hand went from my side to touch his sweet face. His eye's opened as his soft hand covered mine "Miracle?" he sat up looking up at me with his green eye's before i new it Theo was on his feet and we held each other as he lifted me into a long and warm hug. "Miracle..i missed you" his voice was a whisper as the warmth of his words echoed in my ear. "Theo" we stayed wrapped in each others arm's for a while longer. Theo was the first to pull away he looked down at my feet "how do you feel?" he was happy but concerned "i'm okay now" a smile came to both our faces and i remembered Kiran "Kiran.. I have to see him!" Theo put his hand on my shoulder "not so fast, you need to let your body rest Kiran is just fine he will be up getting use to his feet soon" hearing this put my mind to rest and i laid back on the bed.
