This is a song by Cody Simpson. It's called On My Mind. Imagine Natsu on the Stage performing instead of Gajeel. My vision of Natsu makes him even cooler in my opinion. If I could draw it out or animate it for you I would, but sadly I can't. 😢😭😢 Oh well nothing too major to really get emotional over so enjoy your own imagination as you read this One-Shot.

POV Natsu

I was sitting at one of the corner tables thinking about all the recent events that happened, but my mind kept clouding over and images of Lucy were showing up. That image is on continuous replay in my head. I keep seeing the future Lucy dying right in front of me. Its agonizing because what if that had been Luce. What are you going on about Natsu? Their both Lucy no matter what! But still that could of been my Lucy from now. And the thought of losing her and watching the future her die it was like someone punched me in the heart and was choking me. I can't stop seeing that image whenever I don't know where she's at if she's okay. If I can't smell her sweet smell of vanilla and strawberries then its as if she's gone entirely. And now I know why. It's because I love her. I love Lucy. Shes all I can see when I sleep and I want her by my side when I'm awake. She means so much to me. She means the world. She's my everything. I don't know want I'd do without her in my life now that she's a major part of it. I'm gonna tell her. I'm gonna do it today, but how? A mission? No. A picnic? Maybe. Hm? As I was thinking about how to tell Lucy how I feel I heard everyone crowding the stage and whispering intensely as Gajeel spoke. Oh god! Is he about to sing again? "Everybody I would like to dedicate this song to a certain blue hair Mage. She keeps me going. She keeps me sane. Short stack! This is for you, Levy." "That's it!" I screamed. Oops now everybody is staring at me. "Sorry guys! Sorry Tinface, you can continue!" I said. "Good." Gajeel said with a 'What did you call me a**hole' look on his face. As Gajeel continued to sing Natsu looked around for Lucy and noticed she was at the bar drinking a strawberry milkshake and looking mesmerized by Gajeel's performance for Levy. He knew it then how to grab her attention and tell her the truth. Lucy loves music. So I'll sing this new song I've been listening to lately. I know Lucy is smart so I'm sure she'll come to understand what I mean when I'm singing it to her. Okay so all I have to do is wait for Gajeel to finish then I'll jump on stage, tell everyone the song is for Lucy then perform it. I've been watching Gajeel play a lot recently since he's been practicing for today. I'm sure I got the gist of it and I'll do great.

Gajeel is finally finished and Natsu jumps on stage with everyone giving him curious looks.

Lucy POV

As I was sitting at the bar drinking my second milkshake from Mira, I had been watching Gajeel's performance for Levy. She's so lucky. Gajeel really is a secret romantic even in public. When Gajeel finished Natsu jumped on the stage and all I could think was 'what are you doing now idiot'? Hm? He looks kinda nervous. It's cute. No! Lucy you have to stop thinking like that. Natsu only thinks of me as a friend. A friend. Yeah that's all I'll ever be. Sometimes the loneliness makes me wish Loki wasn't a celestial spirt at times. But I can't think like that either because Loki belongs with Aries. If only the flirt would admit it. But still what is Natsu doing?

No ones POV

After Natsu jumped on the stage he realized he hadn't thought though with the whole plan. Because now he was standing nervously in front of all of his friends, their eyes on him. But so was hers. He could feel them even without looking. Soon though he grabbed one of the guitars on stage and spoke through the microphone. "Hey guys so this song is for someone dear to me. She's been a really good friend. My best friend other than, Happy of course. This song is for you, Lucy." "Nani?!" Lucy yelled. "Me?"
"Here goes nothing." Natsu muttered to himself.
