Introduction:
Natsu, the "odd" boy in the class. I mean sure he's loud, but so is Gray. He's crazy, but so is Gajeel. He's hungry, but so is Erza. What's so special about him? Oh yeah, he's got a green eye and a brown eye. Heterochromia: when two people with stolen eye colors met from fate. If the two souls meet they get their normalities back. If they remain unainimous to each other they remain abnormal.

Part 1
Another sun ray
Meaning a new day,
For a normal boy with not blonde hair
But pink hair and skin that's fair,
Like everyone he's not done
Eating that is,
He eats like everyone,
He drinks fizz,
If it weren't for his eye
He would say goodbye,
Being with brown and green
He's the "cool bean",
With a house made of tin
And a dragon as a friend,
Natsu knows that this eye is his fate
It's much like bate,
Anyone with the same strangeness
Would have the feeling no less,
They weren't ready for the plow
Both walking one way now,
Lucy and Natsu met
No more fret,
No more difference
None to reference,
Natsu' s eyes green
Lucy's eyes seen,
Natsu's eyes bound
Lucy's eyes brown,
They are soulmates
Meaning lots of dates,
Lots of heart breaks
And no more fates,
"Hello soulmate!" ❤️💖❤️💖

Heterochromia pt. 2
Splashes of Color

"You're going to be late for school!" Igneel shouted. His dragon like voice made his way to my ears. Waking me from my sweet sweet slumber about talking blue cats. My eyes vaguely look around and then I feel myself get up and stumble downstairs.

Once I pass the short amber wooden walls with plastered pictures hanging up. Family portraits with me, Wendy's mom and my dad. I pass that wretched mirror that mocks me from across the room when I, always, get ready for school. Who has two different eye colors? Nobody.

My abnormal pink hair gets me into trouble. My anger gets me into danger. The only thing that makes me suffer more would probably be my eyes. One is a chocolaty deep brown, and the other is a green, hazel like black. It's what gave me a limited amount of friends.

"Natsuuuu!" Igneel, or Dad, shouted. I nearly fell from the shaky tension. I grasped the walls around me and stood up tall. "I'm up, dammit!" I screamed in a sudden burst of anger. I nearly punched the walls but kept my posture and remained somewhat stable.

"Language!" Porlyusica hissed. I walk through the door way, without a door. Igneel tore it off once. "Hey Son," Igneel says in his 'I'm pretending to be happy in front of Porlyusica' voice. I chuckle knowingly.

Only needed one glance at the clock to realize. I'm so late it's even funny. Who goes to school at 12?!

Why's Wendy here?!

I ran to the door, snatching my science book nearby in one hand. I swung the door open and dented the neatly placed rug but right now I couldn't care less.

"Natsu," I heard Igneel laughing but I ignored it and burst through door and stumbled down the porch stairs. Getting hit by the warm morning air would always put you in a his mood. Unless you're Gray. Him and I stayed up late last night. Insulting each other on KIK. It wasn't until Wendy invited Erza to the group chat that our KIK's disabled.
I hate Erza sometimes.
My bare feet made contact with the cement creating loud slapping sounds. I swung my book at my side rapidly and tightened my grip on it!
Dammit! Road blocking. I usually take the bus because Igneel is working only on school days. I cursed under my breath and took a sharp turn though a lightly lit ally way.
Fencing was by my side and I could catch a whiff of my high school! I grasp the top of the white wooden fence and lifted my leg over it. With all my might I swung both legs over it in sync, using one hand. I landed on one knee and glanced at my science book.
It's still in two pieces. So that's good.
I jay-walked across the street and signed. Looking up at my school I saw something. Thoughts ran through my mind.
Blonde hair, she wasn't looking at me and I couldn't see her face. She was talking to a teacher. I grab for my sunglasses from behind me. Once I put my shades on I prepare for to desk with this teacher's toughest scolding. Which won't be toughest, no, Mr. Mokarov's scolding will be toughest.
For an old man, that man can yell like an angry mom. I would know.
My feet made their way to the girl and the teacher. I nearly gasped at the girl. Half her face was covered.
I saw her brown eye though, damn that looks familiar. I get to arms length of the teacher and bow.
"I am sorry", I said still bowing. I realized the silence and looked up with complete hesitation. Mr.Happy had his paws bawled across his chest.
"I dunno what you're talking about, Natsu. There is no school today," he said shrugging. I glared, twitching my eyebrow. I woke up early just for this? I am standing in front of this chick, in my pajamas and bare feet just for this giant disappointment? I'll kill Gray! That bastard. I KNOW he's behind this somehow.
"Um, excuse me?" The fragile sound of the blonde girl subconsciously next to me said. Her voice was sweet like honey. I felt myself get a cavity.
I backed away in confusion. Then pout, "what's she doing here if there's no school?"
Mr.Happy tsked, "Natsu. Lucy is a transfer student. She's from an all girls private school. So she doesn't know squat about FairyTail. I'm helping her."
I looked at her and she looked at me. She looked startled, then in a little meak voice she whispered, " Can Natsu guide me?"
I felt somewhat flattered. At the same time I dreaded the idea of the girl dealing with a knucklehead like me. Don't tell Gray I said that. He'd never let it up.
I nodded with a smirk. Was my dad ever gonna tell that there wasn't school today? Hmmmmmm?
Mr.Happy shrugged before saying " You two liiiiiiiiike each other!"
I turned furiously red and stomped my foot on the sidewalk. "Shut it cat!" The girl and I both screamed!
Mr.Happy snickered as he flew away. That guy is never gonna be a good wingman. I just hope he takes off that cat costume someday.
"Actually I don't need any guidance," she said suddenly. She pulled out a sheet of paper. I realize now she's holding a clip board to her... large chest. Her buttoned up shirt looked very sophisticated with the pencil skirt. If I do say so myself. But compared to her, I'm so casual.
"Why'd you ask for guidance then?" I ask aloud. Trying not to look dumb, but also being hurt. She doesn't need me to help?
"Because that cat liked blonde puns and joked," she squinted her nose and smiled. I laughed at the face she made.
"OK then," I lifted my hand to give off the peace sign. Instead my hand yanks off my glasses and they drop to the floor. I look down, " can you grab those for me?"
She was already squatted down, collecting them, wtf dude your supposed to be MANLY don't make chicks so stuff for you. I swatted Elfman's voice away and then squatted down in front of the girl.
I squinted my eyes so she couldn't tell they were two different colors. Its hard making people friendly toward you once they learn your different. They assume you're a not and need to leave.
Both our hands touched once I mumbled out a thanks. It was like electricity ran through us, I know for a fact that she felt it to.
In synchronized we both look up. Her hair moved out of her face, I saw her eyes. One eye was green, the other brown. Just like mine.
Then this splash appears and her green eye slowly turns brown. She gasped too. It was as if she hadn't only stolen my heart, but my eye color as well.
My grandmother told me stories like this. She said she used to have a black eye and a green eye. She said it was determined by encountering your soulmate.
So this girl here... is my- "Hello Soulmate," her sweet melodious voice pitches into my thoughts and brightens my dull days. She brightens everything suddenly.
"I'm Lucy."
