Chapter 8: Making Up

Dogwonder: The time has come! We have gone far enough into the book for Audry to come into our studio!

Audry: Thank you! Thank you! I truely feel a part of the Dogwonder team now!

Dogwonder: Glad to have you! Now would you do the honors?

Audry: Of course! Now, let's begin!

The sun seeped through the window and I groggily opened my eyes. Something was pressed against me and I turned my head to see Wendy hugging me. I smiled sweetly at the sight.

I'm glad to be alive.

I looked around the rest of the room to see everyone else sleeping on the floor peacefully. I carefully removed myself from Wendy and tip toed over people to my kitchen. I dug through the food bags I had on the counter. I was able to find pancake mix, but then realized a problem.

"I don't have a pan. Or anything. Ugh!"

"What's wrong Audry?" Erza asked.

I jumped in surprised and turned around to see a yawning Erza in her pajamas.

"Oh! You're up Erza?"

"Yes. I wake up fairly early." She told me. "So what's the problem?"

"Well, I forgot since I just moved here I don't really have any cooking stuff, so I can't make pancakes." I explained.

Erza nodded. "I see. I can solve your problem for you."

"You can?!"

I clapped my hands over my mouth and glanced over at the sleeping people to make sure I hadn't woken them up.

"Yes." Erza said.

She then glowed and was then wearing a white chief hat with apron, and pan with a whisk.

"Then I'll leave it to you."

I walked out of my kitchen and grabbed some clothes from my bag. I went into the bathroom and quickly got ready for the day. When I came out in dark blue mini shorts with a silver belt and a black sleeveless crop top with white collar. I then grabbed my black high heel boots and put them on.

Everyone was waking up by the time I got out and Erza was putting pancakes onto plates at the counter. I went over to the kitchen to help Erza.

"Sorry about this. I feel like a bad host for making you do the cooking." I apologized.

"It's okay. I should be the one hosting since you have just moved. This is the least I can do."

I smiled gratefully at her. I grabbed the utensils, syrup, and butter and brought them over to the stirring group.

"Since I currently don't have a table I hope it's fine with everyone if we eat on the floor."

"It's no problem Audry. We should be helping you." Levy assured.

Mira nodded. "Let me help you Audry."

"Nope! Let me have some pride as your host!" I refused. "Now wait!"

"Yeah!" Kettle got up to help.

"Even you Kettle."

Kettle slumped back onto the floor and I turned on my heel. I grabbed a few plates of pancakes. then handed them to them. I got more until soon we were all enjoying breakfast together and chatting.

Once people were done they took turns using my bathroom and getting dressed. Afterwards we all went down to the guild hall were it was all ready in full swing. We went our separate ways and I sat down at a table with Wendy plus our exceeds.

"Did you like the party?" I asked.

Wendy nodded. "It was fun."

"It was quite loud." Charla added.

"All part of the party experience." Kettle said.

"Exactly." I agreed.

"Hey Audry." Gray greeted.

I turned around to face the Raven hair boy with a "slight" hint of annoyance.

Why is he interrupting my Wendy time?!

"Yes?"

"I wanted to say sorry about yesterday." He mumbled.

Surprised appeared on my face. "Wha? Why?"

"I probably shouldn't be striping in front of little kids."

"He's just figuring that out now?" Charla huffed.

"Probably? You definitely shouldn't." I pointed out.

"I'll try to stop okay!" Gray yelled.

"I look forward to that."

"So are we good?"

"Sure. For now."

Gray frowned. "Stubborn aren't we?"

"Perhaps."

Gray shock his head then left.

Wendy looked at me confused. "What happened yesterday?"

"Nothing important." I sighed.

But Gray is apologizing for striping! Did Audry's words bother him that much?
