I stared out at the open woods. The snow fell against my face as I took another breath of crisp air. I'm not bundled up much, I only have jeans, a sweater, and a scarf. I closed my eyes. I am at peace.

All of a sudden I hear a howl in the distance. I look around me, there is no one. I turned once more and he appeared I front of me. We caught each others gaze, he walked toward me. He was a mystery. I was looking at him yet I still had no idea who he is. He is tall, muscular, blonde, but his eyes. There's something different about his eyes, they captivate me.

"Who are y-" I tried to say but he cut me off with his lips smashing against mine. As our lips touched there were sparks.

Then I woke up.

I rubbed my eyes and sat up. Looking at the snow falling outside my window, I got up and stretched. I've been having that dream over and over again. At first I couldn't remember them, and they've been getting stronger. Almost like a certain presence or person is getting closer to me.

I walked downstairs to see my mom sipping coffee. She motioned her head to my cup of coffee across the table from her. I smiled and sat down across from her.

I have to give my mom credit, she's a badass. She took on me without my dad and worked two jobs to support us while I was little. That's why I need to take the time to appreciate her when I'm home from University.

"Did you hear?" She said tossing the paper on the table and pointing to the headline. "Another animal attack on the edge of town."

I took a moment to study the article. "Thats the weird janitor from my old high school. Everyone always thought he practiced witchcraft." I chuckled.

"That's the third one in the past two weeks," she said. "What do you think it could be? Yetis? Bigfoot?"

I laughed. "Mom enough with the conspiracies. It's probably just a bear that woke up on the wrong side of the cave." We both laughed.

"Doesn't matter what it is, as long as it doesn't get us." She said. "Oh, and I need you to go get milk from the store."

"Okay, keys?" I asked her.

"Just throw on a coat, it's right down the street, not even 5 minutes." She said.

"Ugh, fine, but I'm buying candy with the extra money." I said throwing on my coat and walking out the door.

I walked into the store not caring how I look. We know the owners so it's no big deal. I started looking around for milk and I noticed a man. He was very familiar yet I had no idea who he was. It's a small town, I would know if he was new. So who is he?

I'm probably just being paranoid, he's probably just someone who I went to school with that seriously glo'd up. And one thing I do know is that he is good look'n.

Well I may be paranoid but he is definitely staring at me. Whatever, I got my things and I checked out. I started walking back when I realized he was following me. I had finally had enough, so I turned around.

"Sorry but do I know you?" I asked him.

He looked shocked, like he hadn't expected me to say anything to him.

"No." He stated.

"Well I don't know why but your really familiar. Did we go to school together?" I asked.

"No, I'm in town on business. My name is Kade Maxwell" he stuck out his hand for me to shake.

"I'm Alexa Karen," I stuck out my hand to shake his. Just as our fingertips touched, I felt shocks go up my arm. I pulled my hand away and looked down at it. Yet when I looked back up at him,

He was gone.
