Five Months Later
Zahara
I watched as Leilani and Alana played with each other. They were bonding and I was sincerely glad that they were becoming best friends. Melanie and I has gotten over the past and we aren't hating on each other anymore. We're working on communication and mature things like ya know, being civil towards each other.
Since we decided to have kids, we have to be adult now. We can't be out here acting like teens, getting involved in drama. The best part is that we became best friends again and I know some people in this world wouldn't forgive their best friend if they did that but all I got to say is just grow up and keep it moving. I mean like yeah she did me dirty but I can't just hate her forever.
Melanie came back with some lemonade for the both of us. I grabbed mine and thanked her as she sat back down. "How's things going on with you and Malak?" She asked, bringing the cup to her lips. I thought about it and sighed. It hasn't been going well since his return.
"Well not so good, we barely speak to each other. I really don't know if we're still together like he don't stay at my house no more and stuff, it's like he's tired of me..." I trailed off, holding my tears. Melanie rubbed my back, feeling bad for me.
"Its okay, he'll come back to his senses before you know it."
"What do you mean?"
"All relationships aren't perfect, everyone has their ups and their downs." She reminded. I nodded, comparing Malak to Noah. I know it maybe bad to do but I have to and now that I think of it, Noah and I did have our ups and downs. We would always get into an argument about something but in the end we would love each other.
With Malak, its different. Once we argue, it continues from one day to the next, like there's no end. He'll keep going on and on about it as if I didn't hear him the first time he said something. Not once did he apologize to me nor did he call me or text me. We still haven't had contact and I've been having the blues about it.
I tried contacting him through social media and all that and he still won't answer me. I don't honestly know what I've done wrong, all I know is that he lied to me about who was he with that night. He was with some stripper coming to find out and I was so pissed to find out he slept with her.
How come the loyal one gets treated so dirty like it never seem to fail. Now that I'm summing things up, I'm think i'm single now. I'm in my third trimester and I'm all alone, great just freaking great. I thought Malak himself was loyal but hell no, I was wrong.
Abruptly, Noah pulled up in the drive way, catching the girls' attention. They both hopped off the swings, running to where their Dad was. As the girls hugged Noah, I was in awe. Noah must have the best feeling in the world when it comes to his baby girls.
Suddenly I felt the urge of eating pickles, and I have the urgency to eat a lot of them. For awhile Pickles have been my number one craving and I just don't know why. I looked over at Melanie, giving her that look. "Melanie do y'all have pickles? I'm craving pickles badly."
She laughed a little and nodded, "Yeah, let me get that for you. Anything else for you and her?" She asked before getting up. I shook my head, all I simply want is pickles and that's it.
I really can't wait til she's born, I have the best name for her since she's part Hawaiian. Her name is a secret, nobody gets to know til the day she's born and that's final. The only hint I gave out was her initials but no one still can't figure it out.
