Paste that wand to your hand with super glue

Draco's heart was beating faster than it ever did in his entire life, his hair was flying around and his eyes were filled with tears. He had been running around for enough time and no one would give him news of Harry's state.

Earlier this morning Draco was working at the ministry and was in his office when Ron ran in, he was sweating and the look in his eyes brought Harry to Draco's mind. Harry was working on a case, a very dangerous one and Draco didn't want him to go but he knew Harry had to otherwise it would become a bigger problem. So Harry went to solve his case and now, two hours after he left, Draco had been surprised by Ron at his office door.

Draco finally made it to St. Mungos, he saw many people all in the waiting room, among there he found Ginny, Hermione and George. They all had worried looks in their faces but it was clear to Draco they didn't know much. It took only about 45 seconds to Draco to start walking towards them he didn't exactly want to know what had happened to his husband but he also did needed to know in order to determine whether or not he would be ok.

"What happened?" Draco asked to Hermione and his voice broke down immediately he couldn't bring himself together, Hermione gave him a sweet look and indicated for him to sit down.

"All we know now is that he lost his wand in a fight and was completely vulnerable, he was wounded. We don't know how badly" Draco couldn't help it, he got up and started to walk down the hallway looking for a healer to give him news about his husband. He started by walking but quickly started running until he crashed into somebody, a healer.

"Sir you can't run in here" the healer stopped Draco in his tracks and hold him with his hands, when he saw who Draco was his face expression changed immediately.

"WHERE'S HARRY? I WANT TO SEE HIM! PLEASE! I NEED TO SEE HIM" Draco screamed between sobs

"Right now you can't" Draco wouldn't stop fighting to get through, George and Ron showed up behind him and hold him, his legs could barely take his weight, he was breaking down literally.

"He is in surgery right now, our healers are doing the best they can, but I have to tell you he came here unconscious. This procedure will take time" he gave Draco a sad look and indicated Ron and George to take Draco to the waiting room. When they turned around the healer spoke again

"They did found his wand in the scene" ha said before giving it to Draco, who in that moment started sobbing worse than he was before. Draco had to be practically carried to the waiting room and when they got back there it was not looking good. The waiting room had been invaded with reporters who had been waiting to talk to somebody, right now Hermione was holding them up but when they saw Draco they rushed through Hermione and invade him with questions.

"What is the state of the boy who lived?" "Will the boy who lived survive this?" "What exactly happened to Harry Potter" "Is the chosen one still alive?" "Is it true that his wand was stolen?" "Did Harry Potter tried to take an ogre all by himself and failed?"

At some point Ginny lost it and screamed to the top of her lungs "SHUT UP!" reporters looked at her blankly for 5 seconds, Ginny noticed she had their attention so she took advantage of that "Harry's doctor is in that office" she pointed at the cleaning supplies closet, only the reporters didn't know that, so they all rushed inside and Ginny acted quickly enough and locked them inside.

"Thank you" murmured Draco to Ginny as he sat down, he was still crying, he only looked at the ground and he was growing short of breath.

Two hours went by and still no word of Harry, Ginny had fallen asleep in Georges lap, who was playing with her hair in moments checking how Draco was holding up but he hadn't say a word. Ron and Hermione would try to talk to Draco but he would still remain quiet. Draco was out of this world, he had been staring at Harry's wand the whole time, tears were still running down his cheeks, now and then he would give a deep sob and continue to cry in silence. The healer in charge of making Harry better had brought them water and told them that they were still healing Harry, but it all pointed out to a good direction. This was the only thing that brought Draco's eyes up.

The clock now marked Eight pm and Draco was still waiting along with Ginny, George, Hermione and Ron. They all had been waiting for six hours, and up until this moment did they hear the door open, the healer came into the waiting room.

"Mr. Potter?" he said and he sounded tired, Draco immediately stood up "your husband is fine, he con go home now." Draco's body gained a little more of strength by listening to those words "it was a long procedure but thanks to some spells he will be ably to go home tonight, he does have some bandages and by the way has been asking about his Dragon every little time he would gained some consciousness."

Draco smiled a little, a barely visible smile. He then heard the door's open once again and he saw him, his beloved husband in a wheelchair with a nurse pushing him around looking down at the ground. Draco started to run towards him and when Harry noticed he barely stood up, but he would do anything to welcome his husband in his arms once again. The two men crashed with a hug and their lips met right after, Draco felt Harry's effort to stay standing up so he slowly collocated him in back in the chair and the nurse handled him the wheelchair.

"You got me worried" said Draco in a whisper leaning close to Harry's ear "I thought I was going to lose you" his voice broke and he started crying more but Harry quickly holed his hand to let him know he was there for him and not going anywhere.

"I'm so sorry, Dragon" Harry said also crying, soon enough Ron, Hermione, George and Ginny went up to them and leaned down to give Harry hugs. They all walked out of the parking lot and Draco got Harry into their car. On their way home they would not let go of each other hands, they finally arrived home and Draco once again helped Harry inside the house and got him directly to bed.

The two boys laid down in their bed, Draco gave Harry a goodnight kiss

"I love you Dragon" Harry said looking for Draco's hand to hold, instead Draco grabbed Harry and pulled him closer to him making him the small spoon he than reached out something and gave it to Harry saying "I love you way too much and I cannot live without you, I learned that today. Which is why next time....I will bloody paste that wand to you hand with super glue"

With that the two boys went to sleep cuddling and very much in love.
