I shut the front room door and said,
“Anthony,” he interrupted me,
“Am I not good enough for you?”
“Of course you are! I love you!” I said. He looked at me.
“Why then Kay?” he started crying.
“It a rumour! I never got off with him!” I cried.
“So who did he get off with?”
“That’s not my place to say but it wasn’t me!”
“Do you know how much it hurts to think of you with someone else?”
“Yeah, exactly how I felt when I saw you with Hannah,”
“You know she kissed me!”
I sat down on the opposite end of the sofa to him. I looked him in the eyes,
“I know! I know your not lying because I trust you!”
“I trust you too!” he couldn’t keep eye contact,
“No you don’t!” He looked at me.
“Yes I do!” he snapped.
“If you did we wouldn’t be having this conversation,”
“Yes we would!”
“If you trusted me you’d know I wouldn’t go near another bloke! Even if we weren’t together! You know how I feel about you! How I’ve always felt about you! And I know deep down you know I didn’t do this!”
He looked at me with tears running down his face. I moved closer to him. I wiped his tears away and took hold of both of his hands. I looked him directly in the eyes and said,
“Anthony I swear I didn’t get off with Ryan! I walked in on him getting off with someone and the person who he was getting of with ran. Everyone just saw me and him in the bathroom and assumed.”
“I need to think,” he said.
“Ok,” I said letting go of his hands.
“I think its best if you just leave Kay!” I started crying.
“Anthony!”
“Just go Kay.” I stood up, “Don’t come back!”
“I love you so much! I need you to know that!”
I stood up and went outside into the garden. All his mates looked at me. Callum looked at me and said,
“Is everything ok Kay?”
“Go ask your brother!” I snapped.
I walked to the bottom of the garden to get me stuff. I grabbed my phone and put my shoes on. Hayley came running down and said,
“Kay what’s going on?” I could tell she was crying.
“There’s just been a misunderstanding darling,”
“Are you going?” she said.
“Yeah sweetie,” I knelt down and wiped her eyes, “I love you,”
“I love you too Kayla!” I kissed her forehead.
I walked back up the garden and Ryan said,
“Is everything ok?”
“What do you think?!” I said.
“What’s happening?”
“Well he broke up with me and told me to go and not to come back!”
“Kay..” Ryan said before I interrupted him,
“Just tell everyone the truth!”
