PERCY

I opened my mouth to tell Annabeth what ACTUALLY happened, but before I could Annabeth was storming off.

"Annabeth wait." I called desperately after her but she was storming off. After everything was she really blowing up over THIS? I can't imagine what Aphrodite will do when she hears 'Percabeth' has 'died'. Thankfully, before Annabeth could make it to far, a very familiar streak of silvery light shot out and tackled her.

Annabeth scowled and screamed "leave me alone."

"Woah Annie. Calm down chica. Before you go and storm off you should listen to your boyfriend."

Annabeth gasped. "Thalia?" She asked incredulously. "B-b-bu-bu-but."

"Now will you listen to me?" I asked Annabeth.

She nodded.

"Ok." I said clapping my hands together. "Here is the 5 second version of what ACTUALLY happened this morning. Thalia came, she's going to this school, she told me not to tell you, I went to class."

Then Thalia burst randomly into laughter.

"What's so funny?" Annabeth asked Thalia, looking mildly concerned.

Thalia managed to choke out an explanation between laughs. "I j-j-j-ust realiz-z-ed that s-s-she thought me a-a-and ke-l-l-lp head wer-re dating."

Annabeth patted a very red-faced Thalia on the back. Apparently, this thought had made Thalia laugh so hard she was now coughing and choking.

I couldn't help it, I started laughing too. "Me and Pinecone Face? That's just-just no. But, it's almost as funny as that time with Zoë-"

"And the dam snackbar!" Thalia finished for me.

The memories of our quest together just made us laugh even harder. Annabeth just looked at us with a bemused expression.

"Oooh." Thalia said in realization. "You weren't there Annie."

"Where was she?" asked Brooke, who was trying desperately to keep up with our conversation.

All three of us ignored her. And headed inside.

"Me and Kelp Head?" Thalia repeated incredulously. "ME and Kelp Head?"
