Look what I finished in the car! (which was all day I got up at 5 am ugh so tired) See I actually wrote things instead of just writing a teaser and then making up stupid excuses. (UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE)
I feel bad for taking such a long hiatus, however I was feeling really terrible and couldn't deal with wattpad as well. (If you'd like to ask about updating please direct those questions to my message board)
So here's an update, the end is really unpolished, but I'm about to leave to go mountain biking(because mountains and biking) so sorrynotsorry.
Also this was written on an iPodtouch in a car so point out typos please :)
ANNABETH
Annabeth stood in the office, bouncing on her toes as she waited, keeping an eye on Leo and making sure nothing got lit on fire.
Percy was staring at the fish tank in the corner, having what Annabeth was sure was an amazingly interesting conversation with the fish. Malcom was studying the bulletin boards that lined the walls. Annabeth had snickered at how enthusiastic he was about his visit to the school's office; his only comeback being that this was his first (and probably last) time inside of a high school. Sally was chatting with one of the secretaries and occasionally glancing around to make sure no one was destroying anything.
And, wait. .. Where was Thalia? She'd left the classroom with the rest of them, but was no where to be seen. Annabeth spun in a slow circle, spotting Thalia in the corner. She made a 'what the Hades' face at Thalia, who responded by putting a finger to her lips. Thalia proceeded her sneaking, heading closer and closer to Percy. Before Thalia reached him (presumably to shock him), the office door swung open.
"That'll be Lacey," Sally said, sounding relived that no crazy demigod stuff had happened. "Thanks so much,Cheryl," she said to the secretary. "Have a good break!"
"You too, Sally!" The lady called as she headed out the door. The school staff (especially the secretaries) had become quite attached to Sally, calling her 'that cute wife of Paul's' and always trying to feed her.
As Sally ushered the demigods out of the office, Malcom performed a quick head count to make sure that no one (Percy) had gotten distracted by the fish tank and would have to be dragged away.
"Annabeth, Percy, Thalia, Leo, Mitchell- When did you get here?. Lacey. And-erm."
The girl fixed him with a semi good stare. It had nothing on, say Percy or Annabeth, but was enough to make him fear that the pint sized girl might lunge at him and try to bite him or something.
Malcom slowly edged away, leaning over to whisper to Annabeth. "Everyone's here. Well except for Drew. She couldn't 'be seen with losers like us' so she's meeting us at camp. But there's someone else."
Annabeth looked over at the girl. "Lacey," she said, her voice dangerously cold. "Who's this?"
"Hm?.. Oh. This is Sadie. Malcom said I could bring a friend."
"Great." Annabeth said sarcastically. She and Thalia began conferring with Malcom, leaving the rest of the group to look confused until Thalia whispered something to them.
"Alright, People and others" Thalia said. "We are going to just stay in Piper's house. Some of you guys haven't met Piper's dad before and I remind you that Annabeth has kitchen duty assignment privileges. BEHAVE."
She stared at Sadie for a moment. "And you, guest girl. I got my eye on you."
The demigods and Sally (also Sadie) loaded up into the Delpi Strawberry van.
