-Alex's POV-
"So what are you going to do about the whole Jasmine being your Queen thing?" Brendan asked as I tied the laces to the black pair of shoes I would hopefully never have to wear again. They were too shiny and perfect for my liking. "You know she's going to expect you to dance with her."
"And I'm not going to. She doesn't own me and that wouldn't be fair to Sophia."
"I'm telling you dude, you should wait a little longer before you crawl into a chicks bed. You need to learn if they're crazy or not."
I gave him a stupid look, "I think we both know that Soph isn't crazy like that."
"Yeah, she's like buy me expensive shit, but stay the hell away from me crazy. I can already see it. If you two have children, she's going to make you take care of them while she goes out and buys those expensive shoes girls love to break the bank with. So she'll be a trophy wife, except she doesn't really have much to flaunt. Nice ass though."
"Get the fuck outta here, man. Stop talking about her like that."
"I was just testing to see if you legitimately like her. Pretty sure you passed."
My bedroom door swung open and my mom came crashing in, "Aw, my baby boy looks so handsome," she held her phone up and her smile suddenly faded, "Your...second family...wants a picture of you."
"I don't have time," I grabbed my car keys and phone and headed for the door.

"She's in her room, just finishing up," Sophia's mom said as Sami glided out into the living room, still no Soph though.
I didn't want to be here too long and risk seeing Sophia's dad.
"Hey you guys can clean up nicely," Sam said before walking into Brendan's arms. It seemed like there was something between the two of them even though they would be the first people to tell you there wasn't.
"Oh. It looks a little better in person than it does in the photo," Sophia's mom said, prompting me to turn around. "It's still a good thing that your dad isn't here though."
She was a goddess...
"You should pick that up," Brendan pointed to the floor in front of me, "Your jaw that is. It's not very attractive."
"Soph, you look....beautiful," I said. The length of the dress she was wearing made her legs seem way longer, not that they weren't long already. "You're not that much shorter than me now."
"It's the heels. I don't know how long I'll be able to comfortably stand up, so I might just change."
"We should go," Sam grabbed Sophia's arm and stopped her from changing her shoes. "Stop making alterations, you look great."
Soph looked to her mom, "We're gonna get going, I guess."
"Alright, sweetie. Have fun, but not too much fun."
-Angelo's POV-
"You said we were going out. This isn't exactly what I had in mind, Angelo," Chloe whipped her seatbelt off and leaned back in her seat.
"We'll go out later when I know that our daughter isn't being violated by Italia's son."
"Angelo, you need to start backing off. You even told her that you would try to accept him. What better way to show her that you're really trying than by actually giving him a chance and not spying on them," she slapped the binoculars out of my hand and I let out a long and overdramatic sigh.
