-Chapter 22: Finale and Freedom

Jae held my hand as we walked into the school. I looked around and I noticed a few people looking at me like I'm a ghost and that I am haunting them. I turned to Jae nervously and he nodded his head reassuringly. Okay, today is the day Cassie. You have to show everyone that you are strong and you can do your project.

"Hey, isn't that Cassie? Didn't she get shot by her crazy ex?" a girl asked another girl and I looked at them. She looked at me and then looked away. "I guess she is alright and fierce. It's like she is some sort of magical lion. Her spirit seems strong."

"I'm not sure if I can stay here the entire day," I told Jae.

"You are already here and you are going to go to gym today. We have to finish this first semester up and get moving. I can't believe we have Christmas coming up so soon. The second semester begins after winter break," Jae told me. "I am going to be hanging out with you for the entire Christmas." He pulled my back up higher on his shoulder. "I am glad we were able to place all of our stuff in your backpack. It makes it easier for me to walk you around to your classes. We get to go to every class together today. I have all of my homework for my other classes done and the school switched my schedule over luckily. The principal arranged it."

I nodded. "Thank you for being able to join me in this lovely occasion. I'm glad you have been helping me out but it makes me feel a bit bad since you are stuck carrying everything I own for school. You're lucky the principal loves you or else you wouldn't be able to do this right now."

"I just don't want you being stuck alone without someone to help you. I know you barely see any of your friends. We should put this stuff down and go to gym. Will you be able to play soccer with us?" Jae looked at me.

I nodded. "I think I can play soccer."

"Good."

After first period, Jae walked me to Journalism. I sat down in my seat and he sat by me. The journalism teacher looked at him and nodded her head before going to her desk. She grabbed some stuff off of it and she walked over to me and placed some papers in front of me.

"This is what you have been missing out on and Jae has been catching up on what we have done so he can help you out. He is a smart boy. I hope he can help you with this. You have to write a review about something you like or dislike. You can get Jae to look over it if you want to." She smiled and turned away.

Jae grabbed the paper and he looked it over. "This is going to be fun," he stated and he opened up my backpack. He pulled out a folder and he placed it in front of me. "This is what I worked on. I did a review on some makeup that I use. You should do a review on makeup too."

"I'm going to review that eyeliner that was released by Kate May. It's not very good eyeliner and I'm going to explain why I don't like it."

Review of Kate May's Classic Girl Eyeliner

Kate May has made a brand of eyeliner for girls everywhere. It is advertised to keep water from ruining it and looking good for twenty-four hours. It sparkles and it also is supposed to give off a sweet scent until you put it on. I have tested this product on myself and I am going to describe how it felt, its quality, and it if is worth the money I paid for it.

The eyeliner I bought is the shade of grey. It's a very dark grey and it looks good for smoky eyes. When I used it, it went on pretty smoothly but it felt sort of chunky in the end. It is smooth when it goes on but it becomes chunky when the air hits it. If you don't like chunky eyeliner, don't use this.

The quality is alright. It has its issues and I mean a lot of them. It gets ruined easily by water and it doesn't look too good when touched by water. The packaging is amazing and looks nice. Its color is great but the water ruining it makes the quality go down. It probably will last a while but I'm not going to stick around to find out.
