After Brody fell unconscious they had to do a brain scan because obviously he was hit in the head really hard. When he finally woke up we talked for a while.
"What happened? Why am I in the hospital?" He asked.
"Well what do you remember?" I didn't want to tell him stuff he remembered.
"I remember fighting with Jayce after we pulled up to the beach house, and... that's it."
"Well, they took you in an ambulance and they asked you to try to stand and then you fell unconscious and then they did all different scans and now you're here."
"Did you smoke or drink while I was asleep?" Brody's been trying to keep me away from that kind of stuff. To change me for the better. I've been doing really well. Which is part of the reason I've been trying to break up with Jayce because he used to try to get me to smoke and drink even though I knew I'd disappoint Brody.
"No."
"Promise?"
"Yes, Brody."
"Good."
"I've been here the whole time you know." I wanted to ask him to go out with me but I didn't have the guts to. After all, the reason he got beat up the second time was because he jumped in front of me. I didn't tell you that part because I didn't think it was important but now it is, it REALLY is.
"Really?"
"Yes really," Come on Aria just SAY IT it's not that hard! SAY IT!
"Whatcha thinking about?"
"Huh?" Brody knows the face I make when I'm thinking a lot. "Oh just... You know..." Come on Aria JUST ASK HIM OUT! My heart said yes but my brain said no. "Just the whole day," I said.
"Yeah it's been pretty crazy," He chuckled despite the fact that he got severely hurt from this whole thing.
"Brody, I know you're probably going to say no because I'm the one that caused you this hospital trip but will you go ou-" He cut me off and kissed me.
