We are walking down the stairway when I hear multiple footsteps stomping down. I peep down to see who's in such a hurry or scared of a small family of three, but whoever it was ran out of sight. I shrug and ignore.
"I'm hungry," Mom tells us.
"Me too. But let's get ready first." Dad says.
We wake Zoya, get ourselves ready and go out on the upper deck for breakfast. We are already very late for it. Oh, when are we actually on time for breakfast?
Seafood.
Now that's all we are gonna eat here.
"You should enjoy the culture of wherever you go. So don't make that face," Dad says to me, while I am staring at a piece of shrimp stuck in my fork.
"Papa, I didn't even say anything. And by the way, seafood stinks. I know it's tasty and stuff, but still," I answer him.
"It's tasty and stuff, so you gotta enjoy it."
"I am enjoying. It's just my face, Dad," I say, making him sigh.
Seafood isn't bad. I like it. I just don't like it very much. But sometimes fish-fingers are really tasty, making me change my heart towards seafood. And that's why I am getting up from my table to get some more from the buffet.
I am collecting some fish-fingers in my plate when someone jaywalking hits me from the side. One of my fish-fingers gets knocked out of my plate.
That, you know, rages me, dude.
But whatever that's in my mind is never expressed on my face. Maybe because my face isn't expressive enough. And that's another point to be noted about me.
"I'm sorry," the guy who bumped into me says. He is a teenage boy, maybe older than me. His skin is so white that it makes me wonder if he is an Indian or not.
"It's okay," I smile to him, ignoring my worthless so called rage, and come back to my table.
I think I don't need another fish-finger anyway.
Sitting on my table, I look up at that stage which had the musical instruments. They are not there now. I just wish so much that some artist would perform here, but see, they have even removed the instruments. Poor.

"You done eating?" Siddharth asks Jake, who just wouldn't stop gulping down food. He's the kind of dude who might eat all the food that can exist in this world altogether, and still not get fat.
"I'm not," he speaks with his mouth full, "you guys listen to Aryan's chatter till then."
"Hell yeah, it was Sam's fault that I couldn't to talk to her. Else I would definitely have," he continues on the same subject that we've been listening about for the past fifteen minutes.
"Her parents were there. You're saying if you'd really have the courage to go in front of them and flirt with her," I say.
"Well, which girl are you talking about?" Sid asks.
Aryan and I share glances. "We don't know," we both say in unison.
"I mean we saw her and I was gonna talk to her, and because of this dumbhead, I-"
"Even I bumped into a chick today, but at least I'm not ranting about it," he tells us.
"Who?" Aryan asks with his voice louder.
"I don't know," he shrugs.
"Lucky guy."
"Ah.. seafood is amazing. And my stomach is gonna burst out now," Jake joins the conversation.
"You done finally? Finally. Now let's make the video. It's late and people are done with their food, so there won't be much crowd," I say.
"You decided the song?" Jake asks.
"Yeah, how about One Thing? It has been sticking in my head for a while," Aryan suggests.
"Hmm good. You know the notes, right?"
"Yes."
I pull out the tripod, attach the camera on it and place it in front of our tiny setup. We take our positions with the instruments that we moved here and I start the video. The foaming sea is visible behind.
"Hey, we are The Highs!" We all say.
"Where in the world are we?" Pops up Jake.
"We are floating somewhere in the Indian ocean, so please excuse the noise of the sea!" Says Siddharth.
"Today we are going to do the cover of One Thing by One Direction," I say, "here it goes."
Aryan starts with the guitar.
"I've tried playing it cool,
but when I'm looking at you,
I can't ever be brave,
Cause you make my heart race." I sing, starting with the low pitch.
Our video seems to be perfect as all the instruments give the correct music and yeah, I am proud of us.
"Cause you've got that one thing." We all complete together in chorus.
"Hey we hope you enjoyed the video! Make sure you like it and drop a comment below," Jake says.
"Thanks for watching!"
I walk up and stop the camera.
"Wooooo!! Dit it!" The boys get back to their mode.
"Okay come on let's go check it," Sid says.
Here comes another YouTube hit.
