Bridget and Beckett woke up at 6:00 to go on their morning run. At eight, the babysitter came and Bridget left to go to practice. She worked hard. She worked out for about two hours and then played volleyball after. By now it's noon and Bridget was starving. She drove over to Subway. She ordered her sandwich and sat down to eat. While she was eating, she couldn't stop thinking about Ethan. She pulled out her phone and decided to text him.

B:  hey Ethan

E: hey what's up:)

B: I'm at subway haha

E: can I join you pleaseeeee

B: sure hurry up!!

Bridget laughed at the conversation and soon realized that she looked terrible. She quickly ran in the bathroom leaving her food at the table. She washed her face and re did her ponytail. She looked better than before, but she was still sweaty and gross. She walked backed to her table and sat down. She was about to take another bite of her sandwich when she saw Ethan. She got nervous again. Bridget didn't know why she always got so nervous around him. They were friends, right? Or maybe something more. She wasn't sure. Ethan walked in and came up to her.

"Hello there beautiful." Ethan said. Bridget stood up and he gave her such a big hug.

"Ethan I'm kinda gross." She said into his chest.

"I could care less." He said in a rather serious tone. They let go of each other and Ethan walked over to order his food. Bridget took the opportunity to observe Ethan. His hands were in his sweatpants pockets and he was wearing a white nike tank top. He had on adidas slippers which black socks. She was looking at his backside and she looked at his back muscles and arm muscles. Woah. That's so, wow. Bridget thought to herself. Since Bridget works out, a lot, she knows it takes a lot to have such defined muscles and she had to admit to herself, it was attractive. Ethan was finally making his was back to Bridget. When he sat down, she notices a purple streak in his hair.

"Has the purple always been there?" Bridget's voice sounded a little squeaky, but Ethan thought it was cute.

"No, I just got it done yesterday and I don't know how I feel about it. Do you like it?" He asked, passing his hand through his hair.

"It's different, and yes I do like it." She said smiling. "Okay so you know a lot about my past and family, tell me about you!" Bridget said squirming in her chair excitedly.

"Well, I have a twin brother, who you have met, I'm older than him but we also have an older sister named Cameron." Ethan said, pausing to take a bite of sandwich.

"I'd love to meet her someday!" Bridget said with a goofy smile on her face.

"Okay another thing, I was born in New Jersey but I moved here to New Orleans when I was 13. My dad had a job transfer here. Umm, what else." Ethan pauses to think for a second. Bridget just admired his face.

"My brother and I made vines when we were younger. We kinda got popular but we ever became famous or anything. (Ooh betcha didn't see that coming) we stopped making them to focus on sports. We played football and lacrosse and we wrestled. We weren't good enough to get into the Olympics though." Ethan smirked and Bridget blushed at the indirect compliment. "And uh, yeah. That's all I got!" He said while laughing. After a long pause, and taking a few bites of his sandwich, Ethan spoke up.

"So, um Bridget, would you um, would you like to go out to dinner with me sometime? Like somewhere nice and I pick you up and it's like a, date?" Bridget was shocked. That came out of no where.

"Ethan, I-"

"And if you don't want to I understand. We can be friends because I like being your friend and Beckett's friend." He was looking at his empty plate- waiting for her response. He looked up to see Bridget smiling very big.

"I would really love to go on a date with you!" She threw her hands up in excitement.

"Ok great!! I'll pick you up at seven tomorrow." He said. Bridget was so happy that Ethan finally asked her on a real date. He smiled widely at her.

"Do want to get out of here? We can go the French Quarter and walk around!" Ethan said putting his trash on his tray.

"I'm sorry but I can't. Beckett's at home with the sitter and she has to leave at two. But I don't think Beckett would mind if you came over. I wouldn't mind if you did." Bridget said. She had a look on her face that confused Ethan. She looked like she wanted him to come over, but she was nervous. He hoped she didn't think he would hurt her or Beckett.

"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude.

"I'm sure! Cmon you can just follow me there." Bridget stood up an grabbed Ethan's hand And she pulled him up. They threw away there trash and Bridget realized she was still holding Ethan's hand. They held hands until they got the car.

"See you in a few minutes beautiful." Ethan said while kissing her cheek. Bridget blushed and got in her car. Ethan followed Bridget all the way to her apartment. They finally reached the apartment and went inside. They found Beckett watching tv and the babysitter was washing dishes. Bridget thanked the babysitter and paid her. After the babysitter was gone, Beckett gave Ethan a hug.

"Hey bud I missed you!" Ethan said while ruffling Beckett's hair. Beckett giggled and told Ethan that he missed him too.

"Oh Ethan I have a surprise for you!" Beckett said while running in his bedroom. Ethan gave Bridget a puzzling look, but Bridget didn't know what the surprise was. Beckett ran back out with a folded piece of paper.

"So today at school the baseball coach passed this out to all the boys." Beckett said while handing the paper to Ethan. Ethan examined it as Beckett continued to talk. "They are having a game in the park and you are supposed to take your dad but I asked him what if you don't have a dad and he said to bring my favorite role model. I asked if I could bring Bridget but he said boys only so I picked you!" Beckett finished his sentence with a big smile. Bridget was about to cry since Beckett called her his role model, and she was also so happy that he liked Ethan enough to want to play baseball with him!

"Beckett, that is so sweet. I would really like to go play baseball with you, but under one condition..." Ethan said. Beckett was confused at what Ethan meant. "You have to let me take Bridget out on a date. But just me and her. Then we will go play baseball!" Beckett nodded his head rapidly and Bridget's face grew slightly pink. The three then spent the rest of the night watching baseball games and eating popcorn before Ethan left at almost midnight.
