My friends and I enter the airport where I'm suppose to pick up my friend that I knew since over 5 years I believe.
"Why exactly do we have to be here?" Jess says in annoyance knowing I took her away from enjoying her happiness, a.k.a sleeping in bed all day.
"I told you." I reply, staring up at the escalator eager to see her in real life not through the phone.
"Yeah we're here because of your dumb online friend that you haven't yet seen is here." Jess says rudely causing Julian to slightly pitch her arm telling her to chill, She only rolls her dark brown eyes in response.
I ignore her knowing Jess doesn't mean any harm she's just grumpy, I dug my vibrating phone out of my back pocket and smile when I see who texted.
Kicks🌈: Australian airports r so confusing idk where I am
Axe😭: Look at the signs
Kicks🌈: Okay...um...main entrance?
Axe😭: yeah, duh
Kicks🌈: K, be there soon...i think
I put my phone back in my pocket when I'm done texting her, completely ignoring the many messages from my ex, Marianna.
"Is your friend tall with bright pink hair?" Jace, Julian's cousin who I hate yet love asks, finally looking up from his own mobile device that never left his hands.
I look up to see who the male was talking about and notice a girl with pink hair looking lost, That's my friend.
I soon as she notices me, She runs over towards me, abandoning her suitcases and wrapped me in a tight, meaningful hug.
"Axe Man!" She exclaim, laughing as she says my nick name.
"Hey Kicks." I smile hiding my face in her pink hair that Jace complained about, "Good flight?"
"Yep. Super long though, but completely worth it." She says, letting go I can't help but grin, happiness taking over my body.
I introduce her to my small entourage who I forced to come with me cause they need a life and also they need to get out of the house and hang out with me besides going to parties together.
"Jess, Julian-," I stop, sighing dramatically when I see the last boy still attached to his cell phone, "And Jace."
"Hiya." Cookie chirped, her bright pink hair moving as she tilted her head and smile brightly.
"Hi." Jess and Julian chorused as Jace let out a grunt not caring about anything since he's too busy texting a girl that's name couldn't be said since he forgot about it.
I roll my eyes at the brunette boy before walking with cookie to grab her two suitcases.
"Ready to meet the rest?" I ask with a smile, she looks up confuse as we all make our way out of the airport.
"Rest of what?"
"Rest of your life."
