I woke up, alone in my bed. I frown, wondering where did jace go since he's always there when I wake up. I walked downstairs, hearing loud, high pitched giggling come from the living room.

Knowing nobody giggles in this house but me.

When I looked into the living room, Jace and some girl (black hair, green eyes) were on the couch laughing about something. She slapped his bicep slightly, smiling up at him.

She's really pretty....

I continue to have my frown, going into the kitchen where Leon was mumbling to himself.

"She's so annoying." Leon mutters, taking a sip of his coffee after. "who's the girl?" I ask, taking probably Max's cup of coffee.

Leon sighs, "Some bitch." He mumbles, I chuckle and shake my head.

"Are they like..."

"They're friends...I think, but she's so annoying." Leon says, rolling his eyes as we hear her giggle and jace laughing.

I nod and grab myself a banana.

"Hey Cookie!" Jace calls, he sounds happy, way happy.

I let out a small 'humph' as I walked towards the doorway of the living room.

"I got you some donuts." Jace smiles, the girl looks at me with a small smile as well.

"M not hungry." I mumble, watching him frown slightly and I ignore the chick.

"Okay...but they're in there for you, alright?" I just turn and went back into the kitchen. Leon was gone, but Max was in his place. I feel like they teleport to where the other twin is.

"What are you doing?" Max ask, smiling at me as I grab a straw from one of the cabinets.

I ignore him as well and grab one of the cream filled donuts and stuck a straw in it.

"Suffering." I reply, sucking the cream out of the donut, ugh what a worst morning ever.

He gave me a weird look but Leon trudged back into the kitchen.

"I'm suffering." He mumbles, "Join the club honey." I chuckle, grabbing another straw and stabbing a different donut.

I gave him the stabbed donut and he immediately took it.

"There's something wrong with you two. Come on, spill." Max sighs, sitting on the counter as he drinks his coffee.

We both groaned and continued to ruin all the donuts.

"I'm going to my room to sulk." Leon decides, waving his hand as a goodbye and walks away.

"I'm sulking in the library." I sigh as well, putting all the ruined donuts in the box.

"See you in a few years." Leon calls, once again hearing jace and that girl laugh about something else.

"Few decades." I reply back, walking into the library.

Maybe if I just read a book, I'll go to some other lifetime and forget this one.

Selena already left about an hour ago, she texted me this morning saying she's back in town and I couldn't help myself but invite her over.

I set my hand on Cookie's shoulder, trying to shake her awake since she passed out.

"Cookie." I whisper, crouching down in front of the bay window she's sleeping on, "Cookie...please wake up baby. I know you're upset with me." I mumble.

"Yeah, I am. Now leave." The pink haired girl mumbles harshly, rolling over so her back was to me.

"Baby, please." I call, standing up and leaning over her. "No." She whispers again, hiding her face with her arms.

I lean down, kissing her temple and down her cheek and anywhere on her face that her arms weren't covering.

"Stop." She mumbles, pulling her arms down and staring up at me with those big hazel eyes.

I shook my head and press my lips to hers.

Why does it feel different?

Jace stop. It's not different..

"I'm sorry, baby."
