Smelling pancakes

I opened my eyes to find myself in Leo's bed, the other side was made-up.I pull myself up and out if the bed. My nose picked up a scent of pancakes and maple syrup so, I followed the smell up to the upper kitchen. I found Leo cooking them on the stove and he turns his body to mine. when I saw his face it made me think about last night, me and Kendal hold my back stroking my hair, laughing on the fairest wheel.

"Thinking?" Leo says snapping me out of the memories.

"Not really" I say taking a seat on a bar stool.

"Well, when you think hard it makes you crave pancakes" he says with a laughter at the end of the sentence.

"Really? cause I'm craving pancakes and some of you on the side" I say with a smile. Leo brings a white plate with pancakes on it. I push them way and grab Leo's shirt pulling him into a kiss. I put my hands around his neck then, he stops. he comes from behind the counter and he puts his hands on my cheeks. he picks me up and puts me on top of the counter to meet his height.

"What happened last night" he asked me in a quiet voice. what will happen if I told him because I was just rebuilding my relationship with Kendal and it went down the toilet with that kiss.

"Do you really want to talk about it now?" I tell him to make sure he won't find out.

"I'm going to take a shower." he kisses the crown of my head and leaves the room. I catch him at the top of the stairs.

"Don't expect me to be here when you come out!" I yell at him as he's going down the stairs.
