Chapter 4 : Firefly

7:19PM

We are driving for about an hour since the Videocall has ended.

Our car stopped in the middle of the road.

I told her what happend. And she told me.

We are out of gas, because we travelled so far.

I planned to stay the night in the woods and camp in there until the morning. Because its hard to travel at the night.

I told her, "In the morning we need to find a near gas station to get us a gasoline"

We packed up our gear and find a nearest good place to set our tent.

We set a tent and some used can with a rope, so we can hear if someone is gonna get near us.

And then we are all set.

I set a bonfire and grab us a meal and heat it.

Its so quiet...

And we have a deep conversation about our life story.

I asked her where did she live and how old is she, and how did she end up at the parking lot of the hotel. Because she looks like a hiker.

She said she was live in chicago and she was 21 years old, and she and her brother and friends are planning to hike into the nearest mountain.

When they are in the forest, her 3 other friends told them they are gonna get some woods to make a bonfire.

And 15 minutes later one of her friend came back and he was breathing so fast and told them someone attacks them, and they tried to call the police but no one is answers.

Her brother is gonna go and find them, suddenly they saw them. They are just standing in there, looking at them and covered with blood.

*Then our conversation stops*

Because we heard a helicopter.

We run into the middle of the road and tried to get their attension.

She grabs the flares that she gets in military truck and wave it over the helicopter.

The helicopter flew over us and saw us.

We are so happy and thinking that we are now safe.

Then they shot *Anti missles flares* , and we saw a 2 missles coming towards them !

They dodge the 1st one because of the flares, and the 2nd one is hit them, and then they exploded and crashed!

And zid said "NOOOOOOO!"

We run into the crashed site and no survivors left.

Then we start thinking where is that missles come from?

We packed our gear and starts roaming at the dark forest.

We tried to sneak to the zombies we see.

Until we find a little camp with a para military personel.

We saw them with a humvee and apc with fully geared forces, and they are like 15 survivors.

Zid is gonna try to go towards them but i stopped her.

I told her "stop! They can't be trusted. You saw what happend right? They shut that chopper down for no reason. They are not the type of people we need"

Then she said, she don't care, and shes gonna go until we saw a 1 guy they are holding.

And i looked at her face, she looked so shocked for what she saw.

That was her friend they was holding.

She told me, that was the guy in her story, he runs away when they saw their zombie friends while zid and her brother run into the car and drive....

We saw the military guys holding him in the back and we hear the one military guy said.

"There are 2 rules in this new world, Don't trust anyone, And kill that pissed you off"

Then the military guy point its pistol to his head, and pulled the trigger.

Zid screamed for what she saw.

They heard zid and saw us and we run!

They chased us, and we run and run until we saw a long bushes.

I grab her and we prone in there and hide.

We saw them walking besides us and they did'nt see us.

We are so nervous, because they are just a feet away from us.

I put my hands into her mouth because she was crying and making a noise.

Then we wait until they're gone.

20 Minutes of waiting, we heard a foot steps and we saw a 2 zombies coming to us.

I grab my knife and slowly stab it in the head, and i kicked the other one, and when its down i kicked its head and smashed it.

Then we decided to walk and find some place to stay in and rest.

We left our map in the car so we don't know where to go.

We walked for about an hour in the darkness, until we saw a lake and its old cabin.

I grab my pistol and we checked the place in. And its safe.

We get in there and relax.

She told me she's gonna take a nap because she was so sleepy.

I set a little fire in there, sit and grab some water and lean over the wall and think where are we going.

I told to myself that "i can do this, i need to survive, this is a good moment to be brave and strong"

Then i fall asleep.

.......

I waked up furiously and check my surroundings...

I am so nervous and i take a deep breath..

I can't sleep because i am so afraid of zombies gonna get into us, or the guys who chased us and gonna capture us.

I looked at the time and its already 4 in the morning.

I go out of the cabin to take a pee.

And i saw a zombie horde coming to our place, i run inside and kill the fire and wake zid up.

I told her there a bunch of zombies coming to our way.

And we get prepared for whats gonna happened next........
