You woke up from your sleep with an odd feeling of unease, you could barely remember the noise from the night before, but you knew you heard it.
"What was that?" You thought in confusion.
You sat up in your bed and got out your phone to look at the picture.
"What in the world could that have been?"
You decided to stay home for a little bit to think.
You stood up and walked over to your desk, grabbing your black laptop from it, then got back in bed.
"I wonder if Marie is awake yet."
You opened the laptop and went to facebook to see if she was online, and as you had hoped, there was a little green dot next to her name.
You opened up the chat and started typing.
"Hey, Marie? I need to talk to you about something, it's kinda important."
Only moments after, she replied.
"Hey (Y/n)! Sure, what is it?"
"I've been having some strange stuff happen lately, I don't really know what to think of it."
"Strange? Like what?"
"I've been hearing odd noises and seeing things that don't exactly seem normal."
"Really? What have you heard?"
Marie was one of the few people that didn't judge when it came to certain situations like these, you always loved her for that.
"I heard this like, *Boom* noise yesterday, it sounded like some kinda explosion happened really far away or something."
"Hmm... that definitly sounds strange to me! What have you seen?"
"Promise you won't think I'm nuts?"
"Do I look like I would call you that? You're my best friend!"
You sighed to yourself.
"Okay, I saw these like, yellow diamonds, they faded into thin air after a few seconds though. I don't really know how else to explain it, I also have a picture of a whole bunch of them, there were yellows, blacks, whites, and reds."
"Woah, can I see it?"
You sent the picture to her using your phone.
"Wow! Is that the sunset we saw yesterday?"
"Yeah, but take a closer look in the corner."
"Hold on..."
She quickly gave a follow up message.
"Woah!! What IS that??"
"That's what I'm wondering."
"That definitly looks odd, I wish I could have seen it!"
"Oh, hey, I really want to get into this, but I need to tell you the boys invited us to go see a movie tomorrow night."
"What movie?"
"(Your favorite movie, because I don't know many good ones X) ) "
"Really? I love that one!"
"Me too!"
"Anyways, how about you and I go out and try to see if we can find anything together?"
"Ok, I just hope we can get to the bottom of this... It has me all tense."
"Don't worry! I'm sure we will!"
"Where will we meet?"
"How about the mall?"
