You were awoken by a hand gently shuffling you by your shoulder, and you rolled over to look up at the demon kneeling beside you. He was worried again, but when he revealed the reason you immediately snapped out of your grogginess and felt your face burning up. Thank Nayru you had the fabric of the sleeping bag covering most of your face, leaving only your eyes visible to him.

"You were asleep longer than usual, are you alright?" He asked with a concerned frown.

Was he keeping track of when you usually wake up?

"Oh, y-yes, I'm fine. I guess I was just really tired from last night..." You laughed shyly.

The corners of Ghirahim's white lips curled up at hearing that, appearing to be relieved.

"Ah, well then, I apologize for waking you." He looked away, seeming embarrassed by his behavior for some reason.

"Oh--it's okay, I'm actually glad you did. Thank you." You quickly sat up, wanting to prevent him from feeling like he did something wrong.

Ghirahim chuckled, amused by your urgency, causing your heart to pound.

"You're welcome."

You weren't sure why you were always so nervous yet overjoyed when it came to being around Ghirahim, but then again, why the heck wouldn't you be? He was a videogame character  that came to life just because you happened to wish for it, at least that's what you came to believe was the cause, anyway.

You wriggled out from your sleeping bag, trying to think of something else to say, when several loud knocks sounded at the door.

"(Y/n)!! Are you in there?! And is Griffin with you?!" You heard Marie yell from behind the door.

You gulped, your body frozen in place.

"If I were to take a guess... I'd say they're possibly here to check on our injuries." Ghirahim was tense.

"How would they know you're here..?" You accidentally thought aloud as you stood.

"Perhaps since you were the one to take me away after the accident, they believe that I'm still with you." Ghirahim suggested, getting up and standing next to you as you eyed the door that was still being knocked on rapidly.

You suddenly realized something.

They were expecting an injured Griffin.

You quickly led Ghirahim back to your bed and sat him down as he disguised himself. You grabbed a First-Aid kit from beneath your desk and took out your roll of bandages to show them to the demon so that he'd understand your plan.

"See these? They're called bandages, they're made to help injured people heal better. You'll need to place these all over where you injuries were, if they see that you're already healed they'll get suspicious." You hurriedly explained, not even thinking about if he may or may not have already known what bandages were.

Thankfully he nodded in understanding and used his magic to remove his temporary red t-shirt, placing the bandages on and around numerous scarred areas on his muscular chest and arms. You felt guilt creep in as you saw the scars, wishing you'd been able to prevent them from existing, then you were brought back to reality by Isaac's voice.

"(Y/n)!"

When you were sure 'Griffin' was efficiently bandaged you placed the First-Aid kit on the floor next to the bed, rushed to hide Ghirahim's earring in the drawer in your desk, then finally went to answer the door.

You pretended to be half asleep as you opened it, and you were immediately pulled off-balance into a nearly suffocating hug by none other than Marie.
