"C'mon! C'mon! C'mon!" Matt says aloud while his friend looks at his computer screen from behind. "YESS!!!"
"Calm down..." Mark says, "You only beat one level, you still have 100 more to go."
"I hate the impossible quiz." Matt grumbles under his breath. Mark pats him on the shoulder and smiles kindly. He checks his phone, soon looking back to irritated Matt.
"I'll have to see you later, got a place I need to be." Mark says before walking out the door. Matt greets his taller friend goodbye and without hesitation gives up on the game.
He sits lazily on his couch, silence filling the air of the living room. That was until, he hears a notification from his phone. He picks it up and looks at the screen, seeing that he has a friend request on Facebook.
He opens the app and presses the friend request button. His face turns red instantly when he sees the name.
Stephanie Cordato.
He raises an eyebrow and looks around, but then looks back at his phone. This can't be her, he thinks to himself. He clicks on the name and he is sent to her fb page. He looks through the things he is able to see.
He knows what he has to do. He returns to the friend request page and was slowly lowers his finger to the accept button. But, of course, he keeps hesitating to do so. Suddenly, another hand grabs onto Matt's finger and presses the accept button. Matt jumps and looks to the figure who had helped him. It was Mark.
"You suck, Matpat." He says, "Forgot my book."
As Mark picks up his forgotten item and walks out the door, Matt calls out, "Thanks for proving how much of a pussy I am!"
"You're welcome!" Mark replies, making Matt rolls his eyes.
But still, he can't believe that Stephanie had asked for a friend request. He thought all this time that eventually he'd take the risk one day and send her one, but... He didn't have to. This left a smile on Matt's face.

Matt felt his heart sank when he found out that Stephanie got transferred back to her English class. He found himself looking down to his feet not paying any attention to Mr. Notch. According to him, she had to move because her parents complained that she did the transfer all on her own, without their consent. So, in her parents' request, she had to move back to Mr. Yandere-Chan's class. Matt knew he shouldn't be sad. He did have a class with her in Chemistry, but he didn't exactly have a good view of her fair face. It's true, though. I know why Matt think's she's a beaut. Whoops... Fourth wall breaking... again.
...But since I've broken the fourth wall, let's fast-forward to Matt's chemistry class where--
Quit fourth wall breaking!
Fine.
Mr. Nye (A/N: cuz he the science guy) hands Matt back his lab report, the boy not surprised by the fact that he got a 95% on it. Though, he envies his classmates, Mitchell and Gregory. Obviously, they got a perfect score on it. They make songs relevant to chemistry to help them study. Maybe Matt should be in a study group with them one day.
"Alright, class." Mr. Nye says, "We will be working on a big assignment! Where is chemistry found in everyday life? Like math, it is everywhere. It's the air we breathe, the sodas we drink, the substances to brush our teeth with, basically; it's everywhere. With your assigned partner, you will be thinking of a topic and present it to the class. Also, both partners must not only write an essay on their topic of choice but they will also give me a report on how well you did with your partner. You have two weeks."
