Chapter 14: El amor que perdimos

****GEOFFREY'S POV****

"mommy mommy", i heard the little boy next to veronica and then it clicked

"mommy?'' i looked at veronica with a puzzled face

''yea, this is her son adam'' evy said picking up the little cute boy

''HER SON?" i looked over at veronica who was quite.

"wait guys turn off the music,"i told my family 

"veronica when did you have a baby?" my mom asked her

''that's what i want to know" I said i was so confused

"i wanna know how you guys know eachother" evy said 

"okay,okay. i'll tell you but this is a conversation between geoffrey and i"

"you sure have a lot of explaining to do, you won't run away this time will you?" 

"no" she said

Everyone left. The party was over. My mom and evy were the only ones that stayed. Veronica and i went into the kitchen to talk while evy and my ma stayed in the living room. This girl had a bunch of explaining to do and she wasn't getting away this time.

"so, how's it been since you walked out on me" i asked veronica

"geoffrey come on"

"what it's true and now you just appear out of no where with another guys kid"

"i didn't plan this, i met evy by accident and you still don't get it do you"

"i don't get what, veronica, the fact that you left me 5 years ago after i made love to you in your room"

"no the fact that you think that that's someone elses kid, he's your kid geoffrey, there i said it. That's why i left"

"that's my kid!!"

"no shit geoffrey look at those dimples how isn't he your kid"

i stood there not believing what she just told me. 

i have a kid, i have a kid, i have a kid, i have a kid. i kept repeting to myself over and over

"yes you have a kid!!" she screamed at me 

"and after 5 years you tell me! 5 years veronica, who does he think his father is? what have you told him? why didn't you tell me veronica WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?"

''oh like you would have cared for him you told me that night "all im going to focused on is my carrer" and that turned out great for you huh mr. prince royce"

"wow noni, i really don't regonize you, You really didn't know me at all, You were the first girl i was with veronica. I stood by you everytime you needed me, for crying out loud i wrote songs about you, i LOVED YOU VERONICA and now you have the nerve to tell me that i wouldn't have stood by you while you were pregnant!"

*the room was silent*

"geoffrey i-i"

"you didn't know huh, yea because you didn't care!!" 

"well it's fine, you can get back to your PRINCE ROYCE life with your little girlfriend, ill take my kid and leave" she said heading towards the kitchen door. 

i stooped her

"veronica wait!" i said and put my hand on the door so she wouldn't go 

''don't leave, come-come on i-i"

Veronica stopped, looked up at me and hugged me.

"im sorry geofffrey, im so sorry" she starting to cry in my arms

"i should have told you about adam im sorry" 

i held her in crying self in my arms

''it's okay it's okay" i said hugging her and gave her a kiss on the cheek

*******EVELYN'S POV******

i heard everything geoffrey and veronica talked about in the kitchen. Adam is his kid. He has a son with another girl. i heard silence for a moment i peeked trough the kitchen door. I found geoffrey hugging veronica and i saw him give her a kiss on the cheek. I couldn't anymore i left geoffrey's house
