Chapter 3

"Alaynia and Zoey are you guys coming?" I asked.

"Umm....no we'll see you guys tomorrow" they said and then that was when I noticed that they were still staring at Rhydian Lightwood.

"So he's the reason why you guys aren't going to come?" I asked and they nodded.

"Really" Seth asked and the nodded again.

"What if I get him to come to the party?" I asked and they looked at me like I was crazy. "Then would you guys come?"

"If you can get him to come" Zoey said.

"Don't doubt me" I said and started walking over to him.

He was talking to one of his "bodyguards" when I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around and looked at me.

He had bluish greenish eyes and dark brown hair.

"Who are you?" he asked and I was about to answer when he started talking again. "You're Alpha Hightower's daughter?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yes, I am Avalon Hightower" I said and stuck out my hand and he shook it. "I was wondering if you wanted to come to a party?" I asked and he debated for a little while.

"Sure why not," he said and started walking and I had to jog to catch up with him. "I'm only twenty I should live my life while I'm still young" he said.

"Where is this party?" one of his "bodyguards" asked.

"Stop worrying, Clark" Rhydian said.

"But Rhy-" the other one said but Rhydian cut him off.

"All of the Alpha's already gave me permission to enter their land" he said and they both nodded. Then he looked at me. "Clark Brennan is my beta and Lucas Smith is my third in command," he explained.

"Nice to meet you guys" I said and they both smiled. 

"I would like you too meet my cousin's Zoey and Alaynia" I said as we reached them.

"Hi" Rhydian said and shook their hands. "So where is this party?" he asked.

"On the Midnight Star territory" I replied and he nodded.

"Alpha McCloud is not fond of me but he already gave me permission to enter is land" he said. 

"Shouldn't we be going now?" Zoey asked and I nodded.

"We're not going dressed like this though?" Clark asked and I shook my head.

"No, we are not," I replied and looked at all of them. "You guys would all fit into my brothers clothes, though" I said and they all nodded.

"Rhydian!' some one yelled and he closed his eyes and turned around. "Where you going?" the boy asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Rhydian asked.

"I'm not the only one that wants to know" he said and four other kids came into view.

"So all of you guys want to know what I'm going to do" he asked and they nodded. "That's a load of crap" he said and they all looked at him confused. "You guys all want to know because if I'm going to a party then you all will come."

"How could you say that?" a girl asked.

"Because I'm not stupid and your guys always do this" he said.

"Who are they?" another boy asked gesturing to us.

"Alpha Hightower's daughter and nieces" he replied and looked annoyed. "Why, do you want to know, Carter?"
