"I don't think we need to have this discussion right now." I said and Brantley looked at me.

"I think we do." He said and turned back towards Rhydian.

"Okay." Rhydian said and sat up.

"I'm not going to talk to you like my father would but I'm going to warn you."

"Can we skip the whole big brother threats?" I asked. "Mainly because I'm your older sister not your younger one."

"No." He said staring at me.

"Don't give me that look."

"Whatever."

"How come you didn't do this with the other guys I went out with?"

"Because you didn't give two shits about those guys and you only went out with them to please dad so the connections with that pack stayed strong."

"Point?"

"Why would I threaten a guy who you really didn't even like?"

"So am I off the hook?" Rhydian interrupted us.

"No." Brantley said and I shoved him off the bed.

He fell to the floor landing on his side with a grunt and I laughed.

"Go threaten someone else." I told him looking at him on the floor.

"And do you see why you have a limited amount of friends." He groaned and I stuck out my hand. "You're such an idiot."

"W-" I started and then he grabbed my hand and pulled me off my bed.

I landed on my back with a loud thump knocking the wind out of me. I heard Rhydian start to laugh at the same time that Brantley also started to laugh as I saw him get back to his feet.

"So back to what I was saying."

"Brantley." I warned.

"She may be older sister but she doesn't understand the concept of what brothers do. So, if you hurt her in any way you will have to deal with me and that's not an empty threat, is it Avalon?"

"Not in the least." I replied sitting up. "Just ask Joseph Nelson."

"What did you do to the poor guy?" Rhydian asked.

Brantley and I looked at each other before we said anything.

"Let's just say that he doesn't ever want to get on Brantley's bad side again."

"What did he do?"

"Tried something with Avalon that she told him no to and then he tried to make her do it again by force." Brantley explained.

"So where is he now?"

"My father won't let him attend any pack meeting until he is actually the Alpha."

"Fine," Rhydian said and looked Brantley dead in the eye, "I want to tell you if anyone tries anything from my pack or yours they will have me to answer to."

"Then I have a feeling that we are going to get along great." Brantley said and turned to me. "I like this guy."

"Thanks." I rolled my eyes and he smiled.

Rhydian got up off the bed and walked to the end of it.

"Here." He said and stuck out his hand.

"Thank you." I smiled and turned to Brantley. "You're lucky you're my favorite."

"I know." He smirked.
