chapter 23

A/N hola guys, just wanted to say something real quick, i know none of this is accurate and i know that theres usually the wrap up party for warped (whatever its called) but honestly i dont wanna write about that so im not gonna

Linkin's POV

its the last day of warped but today everyones leaving and saying their farewells, but this also unfortunately also means that i have to go back to school in a few weeks, i havent told gracie about what happened, well, i didnt really talk to her that much.

but today for the most part was pretty boring, just alot of procrastination and talking really (A/N literally my life rn tbh)

we decided to go out and help falling in reverse and some of the warped managers take down one of the main stages, and for some reason as we where walking CC decided to get on jakes back, surprising jake and causing him to nearly fall over, ash then comes up to me and picks me up and puts me on his back "ashley!" i almost yell 'hush child' he says 'hey dont tell me to hush' i say to him, hitting his shoulder "rude, dont hit" he says sarcastically "legal guardian, can you please tell this stranger to put me down" i say, trying to get down from ash "ashley purdy would you be so kind as to remove my daughter from your shoulders" andy says with a laugh, ash then puts me down "thanks" is all i say and continue walking

when we get to the main stage all of the guys just start helping and i decided to sit on one of the storage boxes and soon i get joined by ronnie "hey kiddo, hows it hanging?" he asks "hows it hanging? what are you? 50?" i ask with a laugh "oh yes i am getting rather old" he says, mocking an old man voice "oh my god you are actually a child" i say "wait, a minute ago i was 50, how old am i?" He asks "Ronnie! Get your ass over here" Andy yells "we shall continue this later kiddo" he says, getting up and ruffling my hair a bit.

After about an hour they're all done and they come over to where I'm sitting "come on link, grab that box we gotta take these to the trailers" andy says to me "but theyre heavy" i complain "come on its not far, and besides, its got wheels" he says "fine" i say getting up, picking the box up and follow the guys to a trailer near our bus "Andy im bored" i say "okay well we're done so we can head back to the bus and get going if you want" he says "i wanna see pierce first" i say "go on then" andy says, and with that i go to the pierce the veil bus, i see the door open so i just walk on "linkin!' jaime says, i then see tony, mike and vic all poke their heads out from the bunk alley "whatre you doing here?' vic asks "came to say hi" i say "does andy know youre here?" he asks "yes mum" i say with an exaggerated sigh, he just rolls his eyes as they all come out and sit on the couches, i decide to lay across mike and tony.

i stay there and hang out with them for a while, eventually Andy comes over, saying it's time to leave, so we all say our goodbyes and i follow andy back to our bus, once we get back we leave.

"how long is the drive home?" i ask "i dont really know, 7 hours maybe" andy says, i just groan in distaste "7 hours with you losers?" i say "excuse me we are not losers, thank you very much" CC says from the bunks "yeah yeah whatever helps you sleep at night" i say to him, making my way to my bunk and finding my earphones, this is gonna be a long 7 hours
