Lost(Chapter 9)

Jordan's POV

"We work on straight shooting, running practice and survival skills such as finding food, shelter etc. It's really good for you all to learn early on." Kim said. Kim was a rather short blonde women in her late twenties. "Ok, I'm up for it." I grinned. "Good because you start tomorrow. We are going to test you and Melanie first to see what areas you need improvement in." "Ok." I replied.

I turned away from Kim as she talked to Ryan. He is a man that I saw at the gate when we first got here. I looked around to find where Cameron was. He wasn't hard to find. I watched him as he pursed his lips together in concentration and occasionally responded to Nate's words with a small laugh. Wow he's handsome. I didn't even notice I was staring at him until Evan waved his hands in front of my face.

"Yoo hoo! Sweetheart? Come on! Its the first day your here and your already looking at him like that?" he said.

"I was just looking for him." I said in a monotone voice.

"Yeah right. I saw the way you were looking at him." He raised a brow and I rolled my eyes.

"Honey he's putting on an act right now. That boy doesn't want to scare you off just yet. He thinks he is in charge. He thinks he's the biggest bad ass ever. I saw what he did to the last girl that was here. He's bad news. Two faced even. He's real slick and I'm nice 'cause I want to stay here..." he said in a quiet voice. Then he slammed his hands on the table on either sides of my shoulders so are bodies were close. Then he leaned in close to my face.

"I would hate to see such a pretty girl like you...get hurt by a guy like him...I mean...Why would you have him while you could have me?". Then he hungrily looked up and down at my body. I shivered in disgust. I tried not to start problems the first day I was here.

Then he looked into my eyes and touched my face. I was about to smack him in the face when his body was suddenly jerked away from mine.
