What is going on? One minute, Suga was walking down the empty hall, laughing and talking with Daichi, and the next, he finds himself shoved into the bathroom and pinned against the wall.
"Daichi?" That's all Suga managed to say. He was too in shock to ask questions even though a million of them were racing through his mind.
"Suga," His voice was barely above a whisper. His hands were fixated on Suga's wrists, gripping them harder by the second, like they would dissapear if he let go."I love you."
He didn't realize this until later on, but That was the day Suga's life changed forever.
--------------------------------------
(One week ago)
"Daichi!" Suga yelled while running up to Daichi, who stopped walking to look at Suga. Once Suga got close enough, he saw that there was something in the way Daichi was looking at him that seemed different, but couldn't put his finger on it.
"Good morning Suga! Ready for practice?" Daichi warmly replied to Suga. The look in his appeared once more but was gone as fast as it appeared. Suga knew something was different, but decided to leave it be. It wasn't anything to worry over.
"Yeah, you think Kageyama and Hinata are already at school?" Suga chuckled, imaging the two racing towards the gym first thing in the morning. Those two really were a handful.
"I'd be worried if they weren't!" Daichi and Suga chuckled and then saw Asahi walking up to them.
"Good morning Daichi and Suga!" He waved.
Daichi greeted Asahi but as he was, Suga noticed the hint of dissapointment in Daichi's words. It would've gone unnoticed by Suga if they haven't been friends for so long. Seriously, what was going on with Daichi? Had Daichi been dissapointed because they weren't alone together anymore? No, that couldn't be it, could it?
For the next three days, Suga watched Daichi carefully and discreetly, trying to figure out if something was wrong, and he's noticed a few things.
1. Somehow, Daichi always finds an excuse to be alone with Suga, even if it's just talking about Volleyball and team related stuff.
2. Daichi's eyes always get the tiniest almost unnoticeable sparkle whenever he looks at Suga.
3. Daichi has become much more comfortable around Suga. Walking closer to him, rubbing shoulders, arms or legs next to each and pretending like he doesn't notice it.
And on top of all that,
One time when Kageyama and Hinata were fighting over port buns and Suga made a joke about it, the whole team laughed, and Daichi said, "Now now Koushi don't be so hard on them." in between chuckles.
koushi? Koushi? KOUSHI? Why did Daichi call him by his first name? Almost nobody does that, except his parents! Something was definitely wrong with Daichi, and Suga couldn't figure out what exactly that thing was, but he was determined to find out.
After another few days of investigating what might be wrong with Daichi, Suga didn't get any closer to finding his answer.
He was just about ready to give up when...
"Daichi?" Suga tried to free his wrists. It all happened so fast he didn't understand it. He was just walking down the hall with Daichi, laughing and talking, but now he's pinned up against the bathroom wall, struggling to get free of Daichi's strong grip.
"Suga, I love you."
"eh?"
