Never Meant to Fall for You

Chapter 4

"Well?" Coach Ukai stood there impatiently in front of Suga and Daichi.

"Um...w-well.." Suga started to explain. What was he supposed to say? That him and Daichi were late because they were having sex in a classroom? Because that won't raise suspicion from every single person in the room. He couldn't think of an excuse right now and was thinking what kind of punishment they were gonna get, and was ready to accept it.

"You know what, just forget it for now. Since you guys were late, we lost club time. So let's just start club activities. Everyone go warm up!" Coach yelled at everybody to start their stretches. Suga and Daichi raced over to join the group. Suga let out a small breath of relief. He knew he couldn't avoid the inevitable, but at least him and Daichi were safe. For now at least.

Club went on usual, except for Hinata getting hit in the face by the ball, again. Surprisingly, not one person asked Suga and Daichi why they were late, and why they arrived at the same time together after already being late. Suga would've gotten very worried by this, but Ennoshita saw this and came up to him.

"Don't worry. We all know you guys are never late, so there must've been a valid reason. We won't ask you guys, I've already told Tanaka, Nishinoya, and the first years not to bug you about it. They know not to. Relax." Ennoshita really knew how to handle the two crazy second years, and even the first years. Suga was glad to have him around.

"Thanks Ennoshita, and Daichi and I just got held up in the classroom, that was all." Suga didn't think it was the best excuse, but he would have to go with it for now. Ennoshita gave him the smallest glare, but just shrugged, patted him on the shoulder, and went to go talk to Daichi. Probably to tell him the same thing he told Suga.

After what seemed like an unnecessarily long chat, Ennoshita walked away from Daichi and Daichi went over to talk to Suga. "Hey, Ennoshita said he talked to you about telling the others not to bother you with questions about...you know..." Daichi said it like it was the biggest secret he ever kept. And right now, it's the biggest secret Suga had to keep from everybody around him. "And I told him thanks, and said that I wasn't feeling well, and you helped me."

"You told him what?!!" Suga whisper yelled. Now their excuses didn't match up. Ennoshita was suspicious now, for sure. Shit!

"What? Should I not have?" Daichi looked confused.

"What did he say when you told him that?" Suga maybe wasn't worried now, but now he sure as hell was worried. Ennoshita was going to figure out they are keeping a secret from everyone. Hopefully, he'll trust Suga and Daichi and not say anything else. Just maybe, nothing bad will happen.

"Well he said 'interesting' and rubbed his chin, like he was deep in thought. Then he left." Daichi thought back to Ennoshita's reaction to what Daichi and Suga told him, and how it didn't match up.

"Goddammit Daichi! He suspect something for sure! What are we gonna do? No one can find out about what we did, because it will never happen again. You hear me?" Suga pointed a finger at Daichi. Daichi's eyes flashed with a feeling in confusion and devastation for just a moment. Suga sighed. He didn't mean to sound mad at Daichi, but he was just so worried that someone might find out their secret. He put his finger down. "I'm sorry, I'm just worried about this whole thing. I don't want anyone knowing about what we did." He really didn't want any of this, but he did it for Daichi.

"No, I should be sorry. I mean I said that it would help me, but truth be told, I want you even more now. I know you don't have any strong feelings for me, so I thought we could kinda work something out?" Daichi looked flustered but his eyes had lust in them. Suga just nodded, wanting to help Daichi for as long as he could.

Suga thought over what Daichi told him, and decided that their relationship would stay physical. That what was best for both of them. Right?

Suga told Daichi about his plan when it was just the two of them walking after club.

"I mean, I want to help you in any way possible because I feel it is partly my fault for not being able to return your feelings. So let's just keep the relationship physical. Like..." Suga thought for a second. What should he call it. Friends and more? Friends plus?

"Like Friends with benefits?" Daichi asked trying to understand Suga's words.

Suga smiled and nodded. "And remember, this will be a temporary situation. Only until you figure out your true feelings and I have time to actually figure out mine.

Until then, we won't go beyond doing anything but sex. No doing romantic things that you would do in a relationship. No chocolates on Valentines, no hand holding, no dates. You got it? Just casual sex." Suga barely understood his own words, but he didn't change his mind. He was gonna see where this leads, and if it actually leads to something more.

Daichi takes a minute to fully understand the situation and nods in agreement. "Ok, and I promise to not pressure you into anything. As much as I would like to have sex with you, I will always put our friendship first. Nothing will come over that. No matter how horny I am." With a small wink, Daichi chuckled. Suga laughed with him.

"You're ridiculous.." Suga said in between chuckles. "And thank you for that. I love that you value our friendship that much. That's why I want to help so much." He hesitates for a moment, unsure of what to do in the moment. He wanted to kiss Daichi, but then that would be like if they were dating. Which they aren't. Maybe he could hug him? He's done it before, I mean they are friends hugs are normal between friends. But a hug would be a little awkward. Should he like pat him on the shoulder? NO WAY! That'd be the most stupidest thing and god knows how awkward it would get.

Suga didn't realize that his thoughts took up so much time until Daichi awoke him from his thoughts. "Suga? Hey.." He snapped his fingers in front of Suga's face, whipping him back to reality.

"Oh..hehe sorry... just..thinking...about...some.....stuff..." You. Was what Suga wanted to keep saying. But that would sound like he likes Daichi in that way, which he doesn't. He only sees Daichi as a friend. No way could he love his best friend, it was against the rules, right?

(three days later, last sex session: yesterday after club in the club room)

The lunch bell rang Suga made his way towards the bathroom. He had this aching feeling in his lower stomach ever since gym when he caught a glimpse of Daichi's abs when his shirt flew up.

What am I thinking? Suga thought to himself. Why was he getting so worked up over Daichi's abs? He's seen them before, so what was the big deal? I mean, his abs are great, but man those thighs. Suga let out a small sigh without realizing it.

He could stare at Daichi's thighs all day. The way the muscles clenched when he swooped in with another amazing recieve during practice. And the way sweat trickled down them after a long rally during a match. His thighs were really something. "Man, those thighs.." Suga whispered to himself as he looked in the mirror in the bathroom. There seemed to be no one else in there.

(Suga's dirty little secret that he's never told anyone: He's a thigh guy ;P)

Of course he could never tell Daichi the way he feels about his thighs. But something like that should be appreciated right.

"His thighs are really the best, I'd give anything to just stare at them while he plays volleyball and not even care what other people might say." He laid his head on his hand and his elbow on the countertop. He let himself blush and smile.

Creak.

The sound of a bathroom stall door opening made Suga shriek. Shit! There was someone else in here! He thought he saw nobody!

"So.." The voice said, still out of sight. They then stepped out from where they were standing. "Who's thighs are we talking about here?"

Suga stopped breathing entirely. This was too embarrassing he couldn't move. What was he supposed to say. He is freaking out!

"Hey Daichi." Suga managed to squeak out.
