Kaylee POV

"Kay, you ready to go?" Chris said from behind me. I looked back at him.

"Yeah, just a minute." He nodded before walking off, leaving me to go down memory lane in the apartment I was now leaving. It was a sad moment for me from seeing the empty apartment where good and bad things happened.

I smiled as I placed my hand on the cold wall, saying "goodbye". I finally managed to walk out of the apartment and close the door before going to join Chris in the car.

"You took the truck to the house already, right?" I asked him as I put on my seatbelt.

"Yeah, I had Red help me." He said as he started the car. I nodded my head before looking out of the window and rested my head on my hand.

After about an hour, Chris turned into this neighborhood with 2 story and even 3 story houses. There were some one story houses too, but a lot were two story.

"Chris, these houses are beautiful." I smiled, but it faded when we pulled up outside a one story house. It was still pretty, but it looked old and run down. "You paid $35,000 for this?" I looked at him.

He chuckled. "Girl, no. You know my style. I paid 35 grand for that." He pointed across the street, and I gasped. It was like the prettiest house on the block. It was so big and it looked so beautiful.

I got out of the car as my cream heels clacked on the cement and my cream sundress flowed in the cool breeze, and I walked over to the house. Chris was right behind me. I started squealing in excitement, and I noticed the moving truck in the driveway. He was serious.

"Chris, it's beautiful!" I jumped in excitement as his hands rested on my waist

"Chris, it's beautiful!" I jumped in excitement as his hands rested on my waist.

"I'm glad you like it." He smiled. I looked at him.

"Baby, I love it. It's perfect." I hugged him and he hugged me back before I looked back at the view.

"I'm getting tired, I'm about to go lay down." He yawned. I chuckled.

"Where?"

"Uh, in our room, and on our bed."

"You mean to tell me you bought new furniture too?!"

"Yeah, that's how much it cost altogether. You thought the house alone was $35,000?"

"Oh my God. You just keep surprising me and surprising me." I laughed as he led me inside of the house.

It was so beautiful inside. The kitchen floor was a beige color, and it looked like stone. The walls were like bricks, but they were black. The counters were of marble, and it looked like the dream kitchen.

We walked up one very brief flight of marble stairs, then a second. Chris led me to the last room on the left, and it was amazing.
