Chapter 7

Kaylee POV

I threw away the test before walking back into the room. I quietly grabbed my phone before walking out of the room and downstairs to outside. I called Zoe.

"Hey, Kay. What's going on?"

"Um, Zoe, the test came back positive." I bit my lip.

"It might be an old test."

"No, it was new."

"Well, there's only one way to find out. Make a doctors appointment. But don't tell Chris yet, because you're not sure."

I sighed. "I guess you're right. I'll make an appointment."

"Okay. Call me later."

"Alright, bye." I hung up and thought before calling and setting an appointment with my doctor.

I hope Zoe's right, because I am not ready to bring a baby by Chris into the world yet. Not in our unstable ass relationship.

"Well, Ms.Pierce, it appears that you are not pregnant." The doctor told me.

"B-but, doctor, I've been eating these weird cravings, and everything."

"Yes, well, your results also showed that you have been having major stressing, therefore leading to serious stress eating. Sometimes you may get cravings. Sweets and sugary foods are most likely."

"Oh. I-I understand." I put my head down.

"I'm sorry, my dear."

I shook my head as I looked up at him with a sincere smile. "It's fine. Thank you anyway, doctor." I shook his hand as I got ready to leave.

"You're welcome. Take care." I nodded my head before leaving. Once I got in my car, I called Zoe.

"So what they say, Kaylee?" She answered.

I sighed as I backed out of my space. "I'm not pregnant, Zoe."

She sighed. "Well, at least you won't have to stress yourself about how you're going to tell Chris."

"True, I guess. I'll talk to you later, Zoe."

"Ok, girl. It's gonna be okay."

"Yeah, I hope so."

"No fair, you cheated!" I whined as I crossed my arms. Chris chuckled at me.

"Well, next time pick a better person." He shrugged. I was upset because this was the third time Chris beat me at Mortal Kombat.

"Okay, I want a rematch. Let's go." I said picking up the controller.

He laughed as he shook his head. "Alright, don't cry when I beat you, again."

I smirked as I picked Scarlett and Mileena. I like playing with girl fighters. Chris ended up picking Shang Tsung and Liu Kang. The round started off by me throwing the first hit. Chris cursed as he began to fight back, but somehow, I was whooping his ass. I laughed as I knocked Shang Tsung out and Chris had to fight with Liu Kang. I was still using Scarlett.

"I'on understand. That bitch crazy as fuck. Why is she putting blood all over her?" Chris shook his head as he struggled trying to get Liu Kang to win.

I just laughed, but it stopped once Scarlett got knocked out, and Mileena jumped into the game. "Ooh, I like her outfit." I said jokingly as I started pressing random buttons to make her fight.
