Chapter 10- Molly's

Hermann p.o.v:
Its finally the end of a very long week, all I want to do is go home and spend a few hours with my family before I have to go open up Molly's. I get in my car and start to drive home, its only 4:30 so I have plenty of time before Inhave to work my shift at the bar. I arrive home 20 minutes after I leave the firehouse. I turn off the car and sit there for a minute, enjoying the peace and quiet. I get out the car and head inside the house to my family.

Gabby's p.o.v:
I arrive at home with Matt around 5pm. I have to be at Molly's for my shift at 7:30. I've had a busy week, on top of that being 3 months pregnant doesnt help. "Babe, go take a bath or something and Ill cook dinner, go..go relax before your shift" Matt says to me pulling me into a hug. "Okay, just dont burn down the house! " I say giving him a kiss on the lips before heading towards the bathroom. I start running my bath when a sudden feeling of 'morning' sickness hits me, I rush over to the toliet just in time. Seconds later I feel a hand on my back, it was Matt. "Here, have some water" He says handing me a glass of water. I sit against the wall after flushing the toilet, I take the glass before saying,"Thank you, I hate this 'morning' sickness....isnt meant to happen in the morning?" I say letting out a small laugh. Matt turns the taps off and help me into the bath before leaving again to finish dinner. I get out about half an hour later, I get dressed and head to the kitchen. I stand behine Matt, wrapping my arms aroumd his waist and putting my head on his shoulder."emm...smells good" "It tastes even better...I hope...sit down its ready" I take a seat at the counter and Matt hands me my favourite meal, that handles my cravings, pasta with chicken, bacon and tomato sauce. "Emm..this is good, you should cook more often" I say continuing to eat. He smiles at me. After eating we sit of the couch, snuggled together and watch TV untill I have to leave for my shift.

7:00pm
Hermanns p.o.v:
I arrive at the bar around 7 so I have plenty of time to set it up before the bar opens at 7:30. When I arrive out front I see Matt and Gabby, arm in arm, walking up to front door aswell. "Hi, lovebuds" I say with a giggle. "Hi Hermann" they both say. "What you doing here so early your shift doesnt start untill 7:30" "I know but we had nothing to do and we wanted to come help set up" I nod and we head inside. We set up all the chairs and tables. We make sure all the taps are working and all the glasses are clean.

30 minutes later its opening time:
Pretty much eveyone from 51 and district 21 intelligence slowly made thier way into the bar. Closely followed by our friends from Chicago med. One of the many joys of working in a bar, especially one like ours, is that you get to see people at their best and at their worst. You get to talk them through some tough times and laugh with them through the best. Alot of time your surrounded by friends, or what I like to say, family.

Gabbys p.o.v:
Me and Matt realised that everyone from 51, including chief were at Mollys tonight. Everyone of our closet friends/family were here and it was the perfect time for us to announce the pregnancy. We paused the music and took to the mike. I tapped the mic a few times to get everyones attention. "Emm hi...me and Matt have an announcement to make...." Everyone became quiet and I continued. "Okay so some of you may have noticed that I havent been feeling myself the past few weeks and...well the reason why is because me and Matt are expecting..."I put my hand on my stomach "Im preganant!" I say pratically squealing. The room erupts with cheers and congratulations. Everyone slowlt manages to come and see us throughout the night and congratulate us.

By the end of the night, Im exhausted and all I want to do is go home and sleep. Whilst I start putting chairs up Hermann walks over to me, "You look tired kid, why dont you go home I can clear up" "No its okay I dont want you to have to do this all by yourslef." Hermann signals for Kelly to come ever, as hes the only one else besides Matt and us in the bar. "Ill be fine, go, Im sure Kelly wknt mind helping me" I look at Kelly,"Hes right Ill help out you go home and her some sleep" "ok, goodnight" I say hughing the both of them before turning around to Matt and walking out. It doesnt take us long to get home and I fall asleep before my hesd even hits the pillow.
