I don't own the fanart in any way.
I got out of the classroom without even waiting for Niel. I guess that the fight I had yesterday still was causing an effect on me.
Today, I started my day by getting up really early. And by really early, I mean 6 in the morning. Classes only start at 8.15, and the school only opens at 7.30, so I had to fiddle around the area for 40 minutes.
And I did all this because I didn't want to cross paths with my father this morning.
He could have wanted to apologize this morning, which I doubted, but if mom talked to him yesterday then he might want to.But anyway, that wasn't going to be the case today. What happened yesterday was still a thing that I didn't want to bring up again.
"Hey Norman, wait up!" Neil yelled from inside the classroom.
I stopped, looking as he rushed out of the room and into the hallway."What's up? Something on your mind?" He asked, worried.
"Nothing, Neil, just never mind it." I ditched him, and continued to walk slowly.
"No, talk to me, maybe I could help!" He insisted.
I rolled my eyes.
He wasn't going to quit."Just something that happened last night. My father didn't cared, but I had been going through my uncle's things yesterday at his house, shack, whatever that is, and I found his diary."
"Woow, keep going, keep going..." Neil seemed really interested.
"...And I learned that there is someone in this forgotten town in Oregon called Gravity Falls and there is someone there that perhaps could help me find out why I'm like this."
Neil's eyes got wider.
"Woah, dude! That's awesome! When are you going there?!"My smile faded, and my voice died.
"I'm not.""What?! Why?! You're always saying that you wished to know why this happened, what changed?!"
Then again, I looked at him with probably the saddest look that I had ever pulled.
"Like I said, my father didn't care. He wants to go to California with the rest of the family. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if he left me here."Neil seemed sad for me.
"I'm sorry for you, I wish I could do something.""You could try your hardest, I think you still wouldn't convince him. He is so... obsessed in making me this person that is super social, normal and that loves sports, that he forgot that I am who I am." I said.
"I wish it would be different for you. But hey, at least you get to go to California!" He tried to cheer me up.
"Yeah, I guess. But I heard that we still will come here for the Christmas Festival. Somehow." I commented.
So they are okay in driving through all of the states to come back for a festival but not to stop for some days in a little town that is closer...
"Oh, did you know that they are recommending that you bring somebody to the festival? I think there will be a 'couple special' or something like that. Anybody on your mind?" He smirked.
I thought for a moment.
"I dunno. Coraline, maybe?" I asked.Neil laughed.
"That would be funny. I was thinking to ask Salma, but she might just want to go with somebody else."I smirked at him with a mocking look.
"Something going between you two?"Neil got a little pale, before blushing slightly.
"Nah, we are just friends. Just...like we have always been. We're cool." He responded.
