Title says it all.
I have spent so long in this story, and it seems to not be going anywhere, hence why I need to do the rewrite.
But I really want to know if anybody would still read it.
Also, I'm working on other stuff, reason why I am not going at it constantly.
Some of the changes I had envisioned with the rewrite were as follows:
●The story's title will be changed, as well as the cover. I've always kinda felt at odds with the name, because it was literally something I threw in that seemed fun at first but didn't make much sense. As the time went on, I kinda grew numb to the feeling, but it still feels like it is sort of incomplete. Not exactly bad, just...not perfect.
I've literally never mentioned misteltoe nor christmas all that much for the matter (tbh, I keep forgetting it happens duing winter break lol opposed to the summer and autumn scenarios we are given by pretty much every original story that crashed into this mess that I call a story– and happen to love fondly).
● The story is now in 3rd person, because it's easier to remember what a certain character did if you are being told about it instead of 'experiencing' it directly.
●Chapters will be numbered and labelled properly, because the dots, although fun, are a royal pain in the donkey.
● Characters previously left hanging for plot convenience will now have some more impact on the story. This includes Neil, Sandra and Perry, Coraline, Wendy, and Rudolph and Tony.
Those who had virtually no impact at all in the story up until now, such as Alvin, Salma, Courtney and Soos will not interact directly.
{It also prevents the author - that's me, btw -from acting like a 12 year just because they can}● Word limit has been set to 5000 wpc (shocking, rite), so that interactions don't drag out for too long with unecessary or boring information, and so that they may be written faster.
●I'm looking forward to tone down the negativity and drama present in the early chapters. That is why, for the great majority, they will all be changed up until the sleepover, seeing as more recent chapters are more in tune with what I had in mind for the plot.
●The story will now be displayed as a Mystery Kids AU, with Parapines as its main focus, instead of solely being viewed as a Parapines story, because many characters presented are from their own stories/universes, so they deserve credit and respect too.
●I may make some crossover episodes just for fun. For example, while Tony and Rudolph will have a more important role due to their versatile position, Jonathan and Sock will most likely remain just a little easter egg.
Another easter egg I intended on adding a little bit later? Sally Face!●As much as I love them, I am not gonna put fanart on the chapters anymore. I can't credit the images, or at least not all of them, so it's better for the artists. I have considered the possibility of doing my own images for the chapters, and it is indeed possible, but it will take me a long time, so if I do it, it won't be fast and easy. What's your opinion on that? Should I?
I was thinking something simple that could relate to the chapter, just to keep things more interesting.
