Uh-oh. Trouble.

Seeing his perfectly chiseled face clear of blood and sweat, it hit me like a ton of bricks that he was trouble.

A very enticing, tempting trouble.

“Y-You’re Jiyong?” all of a sudden, I felt a lump form in my throat.

“Yeah. Did you forget me already? I was pretty sure you’ve already seen me yesterday” and I was pretty sure I already turned into liquid with that alluring, sheepish smile he gave me accompanying that statement of his. Did he happen to have plastic surgery in the hospital too? How did he become excruciatingly charming all of a sudden? It was almost hard to look at him.

I immediately snapped out of my daze as I felt something wet in my arms.

No.

My eyes widened.

No.

No. It can't be.

I looked down.

Holy shit. The dog peed on me.

I badly wanted to tear up but my eyes could only open wide in shock. They were just opened - they couldn't even manage a blink.

Jiyong seemed to have discovered the liquid dripping off my arm and the noticeable yellow patch pooling in my cream shirt, "Oh shit! Oh shit!” he tried to reach out for his dog but his crutches were inhibiting him to do so. “Gaho! You punk! You're dead!" He exclaimed.

Gaho suddenly jumped off my arms in fright upon hearing his owner's threat. He immediately hid under one of the cars. That coward.

My wet shirt was now exposed more than ever. The pungent, sickly smell of pee made its way up my nostrils making my stomach turn in sheer disgust.

"I’m really sorry. He hadn't been potty trained well. Are you okay?" Jiyong asked softly. My seemingly cemented face suddenly regained its mobility upon hearing his words of concern. I still couldn't utter a word but my lower lip involuntary stuck out; enough to express my disappointment.

I heard a suppressed chuckle from him upon seeing the childish expression on my face. "Let's go inside. We'll fix that" he offered forming a curl on his lips.

I was clothed in Jiyong's blue plaid shirt - which surprisingly fit me - for the time being while I waited for my clothes to dry. Normally I would feel awkward having to wear a stranger’s clothing especially a guys’ but right now I had no time to dwell on that. I was desperate. I heard Gaho bark from outside the bathroom. It sent angry signals from my head down to my arms causing my fists to ball. How can he betray me after I had been nothing but kind to him? I even let him have the last piece of bacon this morning.

"Gaho. I really don't know what to do with you!" I overheard Jiyong "If you do that again, you're staying over at Grandma's and you will be forced to be vegetarian. Do you want that?" He continued. My lips formed a smirk. I was amused by the way he talks to Gaho like he was a five year old child as well.

I got out of the bathroom after confirming that I was free of any smell of urine. I found Jiyong sat near the kitchen counter, "Hey. Thanks for letting me borrow your shirt for a while" I told him as I tugged the hems of the clothing.

There was a hint of approval displayed on his smile as his eyes landed on me, "I think you should keep it. You look great in it" It took a great amount of self control to stop my blood from rushing up my cheeks upon hearing his compliment.

His eyes lingered on me for a few moments before he continued, "Your shirt is still in the wash. You might have to wait for a bit. Is that okay?" he chewed on his lower lip.

"Oh-! No worries" I choked out. What was that he just did?! That sexy lip biting...it has got to stop. It should be illegal.

"Hmm. What to do while we’re waiting…” he trailed off as he tapped his lips with his index finger. His brows suddenly rose up, “Say, are you hungry? Wanna head off somewhere to eat?"

Before I could even answer to his question, my stomach grumbled loudly. Oh god, what day was it today? Embarrass Lee Chaerin Day? I feel like everyone, even my stomach, was conspiring against me.

“I’ll take that as a yes” he grinned lopsidedly. I could feel a considerable amount of heat forming in my ear. “There’s this really great place down the block. It should only take two minutes to walk there.”

I swallowed the formed clog in my larynx due to the still fresh humiliation and asked, “Are... Are you okay to walk? Aren’t you supposed to be resting now?”

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry” he said confidently as he opened his front door. “After you” he gestured his hand outside.
