Joseph was about to reply to Eve, when he heard shouts coming from the bathroom, panicked sounding ones from Rachel. Getting to his feet, and walked into the bathroom to check on her, not caring if she wanted him in there of not.

"Somethings wrong" She said shakily. looking ready to burst into tears.

Joseph frowned, walking over and grabbing her hand "What's wrong ?"

She just nodded down to her trousers, and Joseph's eyes widened at the sight. Blood. It was visible through her jogging bottoms she'd fallen asleep in. She then gasped slightly, placing a hand over her stomach, groaning and making a sharp face in pain.

Not needing to say anything, he lifted the girl up Bridal style, and carried her outside to the car. They needed to get to the Hospital, and they needed to go now.

Hospitals. Miserable place, full of sadness and gloom. Joseph sat in the corridor, holding his head in his hands, tapping his foot on the floor impatiently. When they arrived, Rachel was taken away for tests, and he was made to wait outside. It was killing him, not knowing what was going on. Doctors and Nurses weren't telling him anything.

"JOSEPH" A voice shouted, and he snapped his head to the side, to see familiar faces coming toward him.

Daniel, Phoebe, Paul, Eve and Ian with Cherry in his arms. Them arriving, it helped slightly, he had people there for support.

"What's going on ?" Eve straight away questioned.

"I.. I don't know, they're not telling me anything" He answered shakily, running his hand through his hair in frustration.

Daniel placed his hand on his shoulder, giving it a tight squeeze "Don't worry, it could just be nothing" He tried to assure, wanting to remain as optimistic as possible.

But Joseph just sadly shook his head "She was in so much pain" He began, blinking back tears as he thought of it all "And she was... she was bleeding. That isn't normal, and I got her as fast as I  could but... what if..."

That was when he broke own. Thinking of Rachel in pain, or how they could of lost the baby, it was all too much. Phoebe sat down beside him, and pulled the man into a hug, trying to comfort him best she could. Paul sat and helped too, while Daniel, Eve and Ian went to search for a Doctor, someone who could give them answers.

Before they got too far though, a Female Nurse came toward them "Mr Morgan ?" She called out, and Joseph quickly bolted up, composing himself.

"Yes ?"

"Your Wife is asking for you, I'm here  to -" But he cut her off.

"Can you please tell me what's going on ? I haven't been told anything, and I need to know before I see her. Please"

The others sat behind, listening intently, wanting to know also. The Nurse sadly smiled at him, her face turning grave, immediately their hope fall "I'm so sorry, Mr Morgan, we did everything we could. But, I'm afraid your wife has suffered a Miscarriage"

He felt his heart break in his chest, and the others looked just as broken as him "We lost the baby" He muttered sadly, and the Nurse gave a small nod.

"Please, sir, she is asking for you" She reminds "She needs you by her side right now, she's had a tough morning" She then looks at the others behind "I'm afraid it's family only, currently"

"That's fine" Eve quickly said, giving Joseph a small sad smile "Go tell her we're thinking of her"

He silently nodded, wiping his eyes of more welling tears, and taking multiple deep breaths. He had to seem strong, for Rachel's sake. Giving the Nurse a nod, he followed her away from his friends, and towards where Rachel was.

Rachel felt numb. She was sat up in the bed the Hospital put her in, her arms wrapped around her legs, and her head resting on her knees. She had dried tear stains on her cheeks, her eyes red and puffy from crying, just staring blankly into space.

She lost the Baby. The one thing, that her and Joseph were s excited about, parenthood a exciting thought for them. It was gone, and she had no idea why. The Doctor said it wasn't her fault, sometimes these things just happen out of the blue, with no explanation behind it.

Yet, she felt so guilty, like it was all her fault. Like, if she had done one thing differently, none of this would of happened. When the room door opened, she snapped her head to the side, and saw it was a Nurse followed by Joseph.

When their eyes met, she began to cry once again, unable to keep it all inside "It's all my fault" She choked out, burying her face into her knees.

Joseph frowned at her words, and walked over then sat beside her on the bed, pulling the sobbing girl into his arms. She buried her face in his shoulder, completely breaking down, and he had silent tears rolling down his cheeks.

"None of this is your fault" He told her sternly, stroking his hand through her messy hair "You did nothing wrong"

"I lost our baby" She whispered out, her voice cracking.

"You did everything to make sure nothing bad happened. Like the Doctors have, said this isn't anybodies fault" He said kissing her temple "We'll get through this love, together. I promise.
