Hubby:

It feels good having you home again.

It was weird not having you beside me in bed.

I love being home to.

Speaking of being in bed together, come snuggle with me

I want to take a nap, but not on my own

Hubby:

I'll only do that, if you tell me the truth on if you've eaten or not today.

I've eaten. We had leftover pizza in the fridge

Hubby:

So you haven't eaten real food?

Rachel, it's late afternoon, you should eat something decent

But, that involves cooking, and cooking involves leaving bed

Hubby:

How about, I make you some food and bring it up to you.

I'll also bring up the laptop, and we can binge any Netflix series of your choice.

Orphan Black marathon?

 Hubby:

Sounds like a plan.

Julie called, she wondered when you wanted to come back to work.

I'll go back Monday I guess.

The Doctor said I should go back to normal routine, just don't overdo myself

Hubby:

Promise me, the minute you feel work is getting too much, you'll ask Julie to take a break

Joseph, I promise. I'm not that fragile anymore, I can manage a full day work

Hubby:

Okay then

Not long after, Joseph came into the room with the laptop in one hand, and a bowl of warm soup for Rachel. It didn't take long for her to finish it, turns out, she was more hungry then she believed. When she was done, the pair laid snuggled together in bed, watching Orphan Black contently. Rachel had her head laid on Joseph's chest, the sound of him breathing making her feel content and safe.

"Rachel?" He asked, breaking the comfortable silence they had been sat in.

"Mm?"

He didn't know how to approach this, so he just blurted it out. "Do you think we could try again? For a baby, I mean, when you're ready."

Immediately, she sat up and looked at him surprised, pausing the laptop and shutting the lid. That had caught her off guard. It's not that she didn't want to try again, but if she got pregnant and she lost it again, she wouldn't be able to cope with the pain of it all.

"I... I don't know." She admitted, avoiding looking him in the eye, as her eyes began to become glossy with tears. "All I know is, I really wanted to Mom. I wanted to have this baby with you." She admitted, the tears now spilling down her cheeks.

Without a second thought, Joseph pulled her into his arms, letting her sob into his chest sadly.

...

Hi?

Do I even still have readers? I doubt it, but I'm gonna post this anyway.

I'm back! I've had issues irl, so I've been absent from here. But, I'm back, and I'm writing again. I've missed Jachel a lot, so I had to update them first. Updates will become regular again, once I remember exactly what I was going to do with this book, and get back into the swing of writing it.

I apologize for the sudden hiatus, but it couldn't be helped. I logged every now and again, following people back and trying to write, it just didn't happen. This time will be different.
