*Narrator*
Peter wasn't wrong. Indeed, the girl who was calling him was the one and only Wendy Darling. Tied up to a column with ropes all around her frail body, her face wore a mask of fear.
Peter looked at her, completely stunned still. She looked young still, she looked like she was 16,17-ish. How was that possible?
'What are you doing here?'- Were his next words. He plummeted towards her and began to untie her from the column.
'I came back. I found a fairy doing another mission, and she brought me to Neverland. Hook caught me.'- She explained. She was freed in a matter of seconds. -'You never came back, Peter. I always had my bedroom window open. I tried not to grow up, just to wait for you'
'I did... I did go, and you were an adult, and married, with children'- Peter shivered with the thought.
'That wasn't me, she probably looked like me. Well,'- She said, changing the subject.-'The thing is, im here now. Can we go? This ship looks scary.'- She said. Peter carried her into his arms and flew to the shore.
'Wait'- He said. Wendy had already started walking towards the hideout, she seemed to remember the way quite well. Wendy turned around. Peter tried to remember, there was something, really important, he had to say to her... but he couldn't remember what it was.
'Why did you come back'- He asked. Wendy smiled, and walked towards him. Thing she did next, was cup his cheeks with her hands and place a kiss on Peter's lips.
'For you.'- She said, and Peter was more shocked. The kiss was just like he had remembered it to be. Yet, there was something about it...
They walked all the way to the hideout. Almost arriving, they encountered the boys. They were as stunned as Peter to see Wendy again, and they showered her with hugs and kisses.
Suddenly, Tinkerbell, accompanied by Julie, came out of the house.
'Peter, what's all this...'- Her sentence died at the end, when she saw Wendy.
'Who is she, Peter?'- Wendy asked in her thick british accent.
'She's... Julie. A friend of mine. She's helping Tinkerbell and the fairies with their work. She's staying at your old house. Or not, Julie?'- He asked, looking guiltily into Julie's green eyes.
Neither Julie or Tinkerbell couldn't believe his words. Especially Julie. Friend? FRIEND?
'Um... yes, yes. I've been in Pixie Hollow for quite some time. I hope you don't mind me staying at your house'- She said, a cold note on her voice. She avoided eye contact with Peter, who was trying to look at her. Her face was blank, pale, and as serious and cold as stone. Her dark brown hair was really contrasting with her newly pale skin.
'Of course, I don't mind, Julia. I will be staying with Peter.'- She said, looking at Peter, who nodded slowly.
'Julie'- Muttered Julie under her breath.
'Well, I think we must go. Julie, you can go to Pixie Hollow to help the fairies, or help the boys with training. You can come around at night to make food for them, and then you are dismissed.'- He said, rather uncomfortable, and he left after Wendy.
Tinkerbell looked at Julie, who refused to shed a tear.
'Let's just go'- She said, floating into the air in seconds. She tugged down on her cream sweater, and they left for Pixie Hollow.
A few hours later, Julie and Tink were back. Julie hadn't said a word since the encounter with Wendy, and Tinkerbell was getting concerned. She reminded herself to kick that boy right in the...
'Hi, boys'- She said, as she walked in the kitchen in the hideout.
'Hello, Miss Julie'- Greetings were scattered around the rather large group of boys waiting at the table for dinner. Wendy and Peter weren't there, but Wendy was almost the topic of conversation among the boys.
Julie did a quick and simple dinner. She prepared herself some, and Tinkerbell, and, as usual, she did one also for Peter. She decided to do one for Wendy, too.
'You're not staying?'- One of the boys asked, as Julie and Tink made their way towards the door.
'No. Wendy is staying with Peter for this, and I will dare to say several, nights. Good night'- She said, and slammed the door shut.
A few hours later, all the boys were sleeping. So was Wendy, in Peter's bed. Peter felt really guilty. He got up to the window, and could hear Julie's eternal screams and rants, as she talked with Tinkerbell in her house- well, Wendy's old house-
'HOW DARE HE DO THIS TO ME! I DID NOTHING WRONG. I SUPPORTED HIM WHEN THE GODDAMN GIRL GREW UP, AND GAVE ALL MY LOVE TO HIM. WHY ME? IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. IT'S LIKE HE HAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT ALL OF OUR RELATIONSHIP. THE FIGHTS ABOUT HOOK, THE RECUPERATION PROCESS, THE KISS? THAT MEANT NOTHING? HE JUST SAID, YESTERDAY, AT THAT GODDAMN BALL, THAT HE WAS GOING TO MARRY ME. MARRY ME! AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, WENDY RE APPEARS OUT OF NOWHERE, AND... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I GAVE HIM MY EVERYTHING!' AND NOW IM JUST HIS FRIEND. HIS FRIEND! FRIEND! IM SUPPOSED TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND! HE TOLD ME THAT! THE BOY HAS NO BRAINS, AND NO TACT AND...'
Julie's rant went on and on for hours. Peter heard it all, as he plainly thought he deserved it. When it was over, and Julie and Tink seemed to have gone to sleep, he looked at the girl sleeping on his bed. They hadn't seen each other in so long, but she was still so perfect.
He slipped under the covers beside her, and placed a kiss on her cheek. He would solve this situation the next day.
Next act, he slipped into a dreamless slumber.
