Home. You hated it. After you moved out you never kept in touch with your folks, but once your parents heard you had a new boyfriend they'd insisted you introduce him.

Jerome wasn't much of a family guy either, with his mother and all that. He didn't really care about meeting the folks. He'd do anything for you.

You'd just finished the drive back. Currently you and Jerome were in front of your door. You tried to keep your calm.

"It'll be fine, Princess." He told. "I'll be good, but just for tonight." He said, sending you a small wink. You pulled him in for what was supposed to be a quick kiss until he pushed you against the door and shoved his tongue down your throat. Only when the door started to open did you stop.

"Oh, (Y/n)!" Your mom yelled with joy. She engulfed you in a hug.

"Hi, Mom." You said. After the hug you found your dad to have quite the stare down with Jerome. "Guys, this is Jerome, my boyfriend."

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. (L/n), it's lovely to meet you." He said, holding out his hand. Your dad just stared more as your mom pulled him in for a hug. She was always a hugger. "Why thank you, Ma'am." He said with a smile you'd never seen him use.

"Dad, say hi to him will ya?" You said walking in, pulling Jerome with you. You sat him on the couch and cuddled into his side.

"Well, (Y/n), we don't want to be rude." Jerome said.

"Oh please. My dad didn't raise me to be some shy, respectful, priss that had no spine. He taught me to take charge." You said with a scoff. At this point your parents were sat in two other plush chairs.

"Oh I definitely knew that one, didn't I?" He said, trying to speak more between the two of you, into your ear which made you giggle. Your dad groaned.

"Oh, (Dads name), hush. We were like that once." Your mom said.

"Yeah and look where that got us." Your dad grumbled.

"So, he does talk!" You exclaimed. Your dad shot you a look. You rolled your eyes and wrapped an arm around Jeromes middle.

The night went fairly well. Your mother and you caught up. She told you about crafts and things she's done. You acted interested as Jerome was fully indulged in making your mom happy. Your dad didn't say much and just watched Jerome.

You both decided to leave at 9 or so, both of you getting tired. You were heading out the door when your dad gave his opinion.

"I like him, (Y/n). Just don't let him knock you up or there'll be trouble." He said giving you another look.

"He'll grow on you. He did me." You said to which Jerome rolled his eyes.

"You loved me the minute you laid eyes on me." He told.

"I wouldn't doubt it," your mom said, "he's rather handsome."

"Why thank you, (Moms name)." He said. She went in for a hug but you intervened.

"We're leaving. Bye Mom. Bye Daddy." You said trying to make your dad smile. Jerome stopped.

"Hey," he started with a smile, "she calls me that too!" Your eyes widened and you pushed him out to the car before your dad could say anything else. "We'll be over for Christmas and Thanksgiving in a few months!" He yelled from the passengers seat.
