Chapter 2

Kia's P.O.V.

~Time skip until they are leaving~

M:"Come on, sweetie, we need to leave or we will be late!"

K:"Ok, ma! Wait a sec!"

M:"No we're not wai-"

Before she finished her sentence I was already next to her laughing at her shocked face.

K:"Look at your face!Hahahaha! Did you ferget that I have super speed? Hahahaaa!omygodyouweresooooschocked!Haaahahaa!!"

M:"Ok, stop it. Let's go."

K:"K, ma."

And we made our way to car where my dad was waiting for us.

D:"Come on, get in you slowpokes, we're running late!"

And after he said I jumped in the car and off WE GOOO!

The ride to the airport was short, and when my dad parked his car in the parking lot we met our friend William, Willy for short. He was the one that took care of my dad's car and our apartament.

D:"Hey William, how are ya'?"

W:"I'm pretty good thanks for asking. Anyway come on you're running pretty late."

My dad tossed Willy his keys from his car, and we rushed inside the airport and then when we looked at the screen displaying our flight we found out that our flight has been delayed 45 minutes.

GREAT. Just GREAAAT.

K:"Aww, for fuck's sake! It's early as fuck in the morning, and our flight has been fucking delayed!"

D:"Hey! NO swearing allowed!At least you don't have to sleep to live, ya goof!"said my dad half asleep.

K:"True."

~Time skip 45 minutes~

We just got on our plane and I got the seat next to the window! Yey!

Ok this flight is gonna be at least 18 hours, so what should I do? I KNOW!! STORY TIME!

I think you are wondering about my family members? Well that's not much. Pretty much all my family is dead. My dad's dad died when I was 7 , he died from stroke, the first time he survived it, but the second time, he didn't. My other grandpa died one year after, right on my mom's birthday. Such a good gift. He died from blood loss. Then two years after, both of my grandmas died from cancer. And when I was 12 my aunt and her family died in a very bad car accident, and then one month or two months later my sister got murdered by an assassin that I killed last year because he was a very hard bastard to kill. Then my brother died in a car accident. He was drunk and he was driving...Oh my god that poor bastard, I'm crying again for fuck's sake. I'm such a crybaby. Stop. Stop it please!

~Flashback~

Da- Daniel, My brother's name.

Da:"Heyyy~ sisteeer! I'm going oout. See yaa'~!"

K:"Oh my god. You smell so bad, like alcohool! How much have you been drinking?!"

Da:"Ehhm, not much~. Hehee. I need to go, byee~"

K:"Ok. But please don't drink and drive. It's dangerous!"

Da:"I'll be fine, don't you worry~" he said slurring his words.

He exited the house and entered his car parked outside our house in Seattle. The thing is that me, dad and mom moved from there in Romania after their deaths. And then I saw him speed and off in the distance then from the upcoming traffic I saw a car, another drunk driver hit my brother's car, and I just watched the accident happen and then there was a loud THUD ,  followed by screaming. My brother's voice...

Later at the accident scene my mom...crying..

My dad screaming that this is impossible and crying...

Me just staying there...crying not knowing what to do..

"No this isn't true" I told myself

"Please NO."

"STOP THIS. PLEASE!"

"NO. MAKE IT STOP"

~End of Flashback~

M:"KIA! Wake UP!"

I woke to my mom shaking me and screaming to stop? Stop what? Was that a dream? Of course, that happened a long time ago..I'm such a crybaby.

  My mom and dad were looking at me with a concerned look.

K:"What happened ma'?"

M:"You were crying and screaming something like 'Make it stop' or 'Stop this, please'. What happened? Another nightmare?"

I just nodded.

D:"Did you take your pills this morning?"

K:"No. What time it is?"

D:"12:26PM"

K:"Shoot. Now I need to take them. Did you take 'em with you?"

M:"Yes, here you are."

K:"Thanks, ma',"

I took my pills and technically we still have 12 hours and 15 minutes. Fuuuuuuuck my lifeeee.~

~Time skip 12 hours and 15 minutes~

Our plane just landed. Yeey!

We got off the plane and grabbed our luggages and outside the airport dad's and mom's scientists' team was waiting for us. Josh, Benjamin and  Michael.

D, Ma:"Hey guys!"

J,B,Mi:"Hey boss!"

K:"Hello."

J:"Oh, hey there! So this is your cute kid. You just won't shut up about her, and I see why."

B:"She looks like she has Aphrodite blood in her."

K:"Well, actually I have Aphrodite blood in my bloodline. We, the Brandmayers have been here on Earth since mankind itself. We are the kids of the Gods and many more mythical creatures that existed. All the bloodlines, even yours lead to us."

J:"That's bullshit."

D:"No. She's actually telling the truth for once."

K:"Hey!"

Mi:"Ok. That's enough. Let's get you guys settled in your hotel rooms first, then you can chit-chat after."

D,Ma,K,J,B:"ok."

~Time skip after we arrived at the hotel~

K:"Um, what time and what date is it?"

Mi:"The 16th of august, 07:12PM"

K:"Oh, I thought it was later in the afternoon, I don't know why."

J:"AAAANND WE'RE HEREEE!!"Josh screamed at the top of his lungs.

K:"Jesus Christ! AND I TOUGHT  I WAS LOUD!"I screamed almost making them deaf.

J:"Jesus! Well you are more louder than me!"

 After my little shouting contest  with Josh I won and then we grabbed our bags and said good bye to the team of scientists and went into our rooms.

K:"Dad! Tomorrow is Pax East I'm going to be away all day long! Is that okay?"

D:"Yes. Because tomorrow we are going to be away too!"

K:"Ok. I'm going to bed. Night' dad! Night' ma!"

Ma,D:"Good night!"

I went to take a shower and after that I put my pyjamas on. An oversized T-shirt from my brother and some pants.

"Tomorrow is another day. A great one.."I thought to myself before falling asleep.
