Friendship or Love?

Chapter 1

Everyone has that person that they are close to. Someone they can count on and trust their whole life with. Someone they can call 'best friend'. A friend or best friend for that matter can change the way you live. They can change your point of view of things. The best part is the right person can change your whole life and make you a better person.

Third Person P.O.V

Meet Elizabeth Brown. She's 5 years old, not too long in the big world we call home. Growing up in the busy city where as you wake up the first thing you hear are the sounds of vehicles. Hidden beneath the sounds of vehicles were people shouting and fighting. However, all the reality of the world was hidden from her eyes. What she sees in the world isn't like what other people see. She only saw the good in people no matter what circumstance. Those five years, she grew up well, only hearing laughter and experiencing happiness. She had family meals around the table and went to bed with a smile on her face. Elizabeth was and still is this precious little ray of sunshine. She lights up everyone's day. Elizabeth is that typical person dreaming of world peace and ending world hunger. However, as she grows up, she learns maybe not everyone sees the good in people and maybe she has been too unaware with the reality of the world.

Elizabeth's P.O.V
A/N sorry this will be childish because it is a 6 year old point of view.

"Good morning, world!!" Today is my birthday, and I am now 6 years old! Mommy and daddy are gonna bring me to the playground today. I took my favourite stuffed wolf and skipped out the door holding my mommy and daddy's hand. Daddy said that he has a surprise for me when we get home!

[Time skip to playground]

At the playground I went to the sand box. It was empty so I had the whole sand box to myself! Mommy and daddy came to play with me. Daddy and I built a big sandcastle! I said daddy was the king and he said mommy was his queen and I was his little princess! When we were done, he went to the bench with mommy. I think they are talking about my party!

Suddenly I saw a purple butterfly fly by. Butterflies are my favourite animals and purple is my favourite colour. It landed on a bush. I decided to try to catch it so I can have it as a pet.

I didn't catch the butterfly because it was too fast. When I came back, I saw my sandcastle was destroyed. NOOO!! Who did this?! It took so long for me and daddy to build this sandcastle, now its all gone... I wanted to go tell mommy and daddy but before I could I heard something. "Hey look at her, shes crying!!!" I look up to see three boys standing around me. They were holding my stuffed wolf. "Haha, look at her face! It's ridiculous! Do you want your mommy and daddy?" Who are they? I'm scared, where's mommy and daddy? "Aww, look, the little baby is crying."

"Hey!!" I heard another sound. "Its not funny to bully people, its MEAN. LEAVE HER ALONE!" Did a superhero come to rescue me? But this isn't daddy's voice, who is it? I looked up and saw a boy with an angry face looking at the bullies. They started mocking me. "Oh look, her pathetic little friend came to save her." Then they looked at him. "What, you expect us to be scared of you, little boy? You trying to protect your girlfriend? "He's not my boyfriend!", I shouted. "I ship it though, she's as pathetic as you are!"
