Help Me! 8th Grade!

There is 17 days left before school, and I don't wanna go! School is boring, and hard, and when your going to 8th grade... It's torturing!
See, my school is a combined middle and high. So, when your in 8th grade, they want you to learn the ways of a high schooler, the hard way. So, when you get in trouble, you get punished like a high schooler. But, your not allowed to do any of the good high school things, because your in middle school. So, it's basically a double whammy on me. Probably the only plus of going into 8th grade is that...
I don't have to walk in some stupid embarrassing line to class! I get free roam! Yeah... The 6th and 7th graders have to walk in a line to all of their classes, which, for me, was boring and embarrassing! I am better then walking in a line!
I did get my new bookbag, though. It took us a while, after they kept mailing is the wrong one. But, we finally got it! It's purple, blue, and white! My last one was plain purple, so now my bookbag life is colorful!
I also heard that in 8th grade, you have to read a lot more! And, worst of all, manga doesn't count! Apparently, there is "too many pictures". But I love pictures! And, apparently, there is a proven fact that it is a lot easier to understand comic books then it is a normal book. So, why won't you let us read manga?!
*sigh* I just don't understand school these days...
