St Margo's seemed to be quite lively with both Reporter's and Nurses, all I could do is assume that it has to be about Lucius Malfoy. I had Severus walking along side me while Draco went to the Manor to retrieve the letter.

I was nervous that he would be angry about me, but I couldn't figure any reason why... if they all knew I was Tom's child than why would they go out of their way to be so angry with me.

Severus held my hand softly, trying to calm me down as best as he could, but I was still to jumpy. There was a click of a camera and a loud scream as a man dressed in black was tossed out of the room where white curtains surrounded an infirmary bed.

"Do you think her will be okay with us visiting, he just got placed here from what you tell me... you don't think he might be upset?" I whimper and glance at the Potion Master who doesn't seemed phased by this behavior.

"Lucius will be happy to hear from me, and yes even you... know that you know the truth. Unless Dumbledore got to him before we could have and that wouldn't shock me much either. Might even be why he has written the letter." He ploughs threw the crowd with a sneer plastered on his mouth and a threat to kill in his eyes.

I question how easily he can pull up this mask, and so quickly able to become the sympathetic man who cried on my shoulder and hugged me. I don't think Snape's is all that meets the eyes with his sneers and loving glances; one book that might never be read.

"Go away!" Lucius barked, a band aid soaked in red was wrapped around his eyes.

"Lucy, it's me." Snape smiles fondly at the older wizard.

"Sev? I swear that better be you."

"Yes, and I'm not alone."

He stiffens and reaches to his bed side table for his wand and bites he lip. Snape rolls his eyes and stalks over to the man with a heavy heart and grabs the wand off the side table, placing it on the foot of the bed, sitting down in the empty chair in front of the man.

"It's Hariwald, I know you-"

"Why does he know his real...? Severus you didn't? He shouldn't have known yet... the times are too dangerous. Dumbledore killing Peter, hunting down Remus... now attempting killing me by sending a dog after me. I didn't even get to see the dog, just it was so fast. I Severus, how's Dragon?" Lucius was panicked.

"He's fine, we sent him to Malfoy Manor to find the letter."

"The letter wasn't meant for anyone, but Tom. I don't want anyone see it. I hope he doesn't read it, he's not ready for that shock and neither is Harry... My child, I'm sorry for all the misunderstanding and trying to kill you in second year, but that was more for the elf not you. I'm deeply sorry and hope you will forgive me."

I smile and place my hand on his, they're cold and soft. I wanted to just hold them for as long as I could, he looks like he could use the affection. I think closely about what all is being said and yes he did try to kill me, but everyone deserves second chances.

"I forgive you."

"What happened to your eyes? I was only informed of you having a broken leg... Did the dog do this to you too?" Snape gave a genuine look of concern.

"My eyes? Oh no, that was my doing. Dumbledore came here trying to pry information from me playing innocent and carefree, the nurse left a scalpel on the table next to me and I did what I had to, to protect my child and well Tom's. Neither of us asked for this and neither did your mother Harry."

I stare in disbelief and in horror.

"You...you..yo.." I sputtered.

"You gouged out your own eyes so he could see didn't you."

I sad smile appears on Lucius thin lips. He takes a small breath and chuckles slightly with so much fear and misery; there is no way he couldn't have found a better solution... there is always something better than self-mutilation.

"He's starting to find ways to get stronger. I think he feeding off of a vessel like how wands can be limited to only a certain amount of power, I think he's interlaced his power into someone's wand is feeding from that."

My heart sinks.

"Severus..." I pull out my wand.
