The whole of the next day, he received snarky comments from Malfoy, but he didn't show any outward signs that he cared.
Inside on the other hand, Harry was in turmoil. He was still in denial as to why he even cared what Malfoy thought. He was trying to find a way to stop Malfoy insulting him, especially as he felt like crying every time he heard a new insult. With each insult it got more difficult to hide his emotions, as it felt like a monster was squeezing his stomach so much he felt like throwing up.
He didn't go to dinner that night, and instead spent his time in the library, writing his potions essay that was due the next day.
They were researching Amortentia, and the more Harry read, the greater an idea hatched in his mind. By the time he'd finished the essay, the idea was now a plan ready to take place.
'Amortentia smells different to each person, depending on what attracts them. So, if Harry were to turn up to classes tomorrow, wearing amortentia instead of cologne, Draco wouldn't be able to insult him, as he would smell like what Draco was most attracted to.' He thought.
Then he froze.
Draco.
He had called Malfoy Draco.
Draco.
Reminding himself never to do that again, he continued on his path to get the invisibility cloak. He dreaded to even imagine what his father would think if he knew what Harry was using the cloak for. He knew his dad would probably be happy that he was using it to steal from Snape, but possibly slightly less so to impress a Malfoy. Oh well, too late now.
Harry crept into the store cupboard, and found a few small bottles of amortentia. After having researched it for the past three hours, he knew he'd only need a tiny amount, so took only one bottle.
He couldn't wait to see Malfoy's face the next day.
