She knew once Grayson saw her he was going to blow up. When he came in the door she was terrified. The last thing she wanted was for him to see her like that but she really didn't have much of a choice.

There were so many things going through her mind. One of them is that she didn't want Daysha to find out or see her because she wouldn't understand. Another was the fact that it happened in the first place. How could she have been so stupid?

Grayson picked her up off of the floor and cradled her in his arms. She felt so safe she didn't want him to ever let go. He put them on the bed and held her allowing her to cry until she couldn't anymore.

They didn't say a word, just stayed in that position for about an hour. His heartbeat and his deep breathing were soothing.

Daysha had come to the door but they didn't answer. Amelia said she didn't want to see anyone, and that included her daughter. He respected her wishes even though he didn't like it.

Knowing how much Grayson loved her is the only thing that got her through it all. She just kept seeing his face and hearing his voice, helping her to endure.

She felt dirty and ugly.

"Grayson, I don't want to stay like this. I feel so dirty." She said softly.

"You are not dirty, Amelia. You are beautiful and I love you more than I ever thought possible. I will not let you go through this alone. What do you need me to do?" He asked rubbing small circles on her back.

"I need to clean up."

"Okay, I will help you. I have to let go for just a minute so I can get ready."

She nodded her head and felt him move. He let go of her gently and climbed off of the bed. She buried her face in the pillow hoping to hide her bruised face. He was only away from her for about thirty seconds and then came back.

Grayson lifted her up out of the bed and she wrapped her arms around his shoulders as he cradled her in his arms. She could feel his skin up against hers, which means he stripped down.

They started walking ending up in the bathroom. He set her down on the toilet while he adjusted the water, getting the temperature just right she assumed. A few seconds later he gently took her hand pulling her up to him. He wrapped his arms around her and helped her into the shower.

The water stung her skin when it first hit her body. Grayson just stood there holding her in his arms letting the water run down their bodies.

He used his wet hand to remove the blood from her mouth. She rested her head on his chest for just a few seconds before looking up into his eyes. Those dark brown orbs spoke volumes. She could see his love for her, and how hurt and angry he was.

"I'm sorry, Grayson." She whispered.

"You have nothing to apologize for. I am here for you and will always be here for you. I will never let you go, baby." He answered running his hand though her hair as the water continued to run down her body.

"But I..."

"No, there are no buts. I am here and we will get through this together."

He used the back of his hand running it lightly across her cheek. She grimaced from the pain of him touching her bruised face. How is she going to explain this? Anyone could see her face and know something happened. Daysha is not stupid and will sense something is wrong.

Tears welled up in her eyes, and she rested her head back on his chest. He let them stand there for quite some time before getting the soap and helping her wash her body. His touch was gentle and loving making her feel better.
