It's been a month since that shit with Titus went down. Grayson is still angry and has no idea when he's going to get himself right. At this point it will probably be never. So much of him wishes he would have just killed Titus. He knew Amelia wouldn't be able to forgive him if he did, so he just made it so Titus won't be around.
They got a call from the label and their agent who asked questions he didn't want to answer. They are on tour with no management and neither of them liked that. Neville told them the band had made a decision to fire Titus because of his change in behavior and the fact that they were doing thing all by themselves anyway.
For now they are their own management and aren't going to worry about looking for someone else until after the tour is over. Their agent contacted the venues they would be performing at filling them in on the change. If anyone needed to reach them for any reason, they are to call Neville first and Grayson second.
No one really questioned it, which was a huge relief for Grayson.
After that spectacle with Titus, Remy, Neville, and Alistair all had questions. They were questions neither Grayson nor Zach could answer without betraying Amelia's trust. Zach told them Titus had done some things they didn't like, far worse than any other thing he's ever done, and he needed to go immediately. Thankfully all of the guys accepted it and the conversation was done.
The girls, however, were full aware of what happened. When they came off stage that day, Daysha saw the bruise on her mother's face and questioned it relentlessly. Amelia said she would tell them what happened, but later when they are alone.
At first Daysha didn't want to wait, but Amelia said something to her so she could relax.
That night Grayson stayed in the room with Zach so Amelia could have time with the girls. She was upfront with them for the most part, giving them the general information. Daysha was both angry and sad, as were the rest of the girls. She asked to see the rest of the bruises, so Amelia showed her face, her neck, her wrists and the couple that were on her body.
Amelia said it took them a long time to calm down. They didn't want to leave her that night but she assured them she would be fine because Grayson would be there. Daysha knew Grayson would take care of her mother so she didn't fight it.
He can say after that day the dynamics between the bands lessened. They were all still happy and excited, but just not as much as they were before. Fortunately none of the people they were playing for could tell the difference. As musicians, they could recognize the change.
Right before they left the states going to their shows they had booked overseas, they got a letter from some attorney who was apparently representing Titus. He was claiming breach of contract.
Grayson and the rest of the guys were livid that he would do something like that. They spoke to their attorney who said he would take care of it. If there was indeed something they had to worry about their attorney said she would contact them.
Grayson didn't care. If he had to take money out of his pocket to pay the rest of Titus' measly salary he would. The last thing he needed to do was see Titus because he knew for a fact that man wouldn't be walking out of the courtroom.
So far it's been about a week and they haven't heard anything yet. He has to think that is a good sign. Their attorney is extremely good at her job.
They just left the UK and are on their way to France, then to Italy, then to Spain, then to Ireland before playing a couple of shows in Australia. During their visits to each country, they have to do public appearances on their radio stations and talk shows. It is really tiring but they are trying to hang in there.
