there, outside seattle grace, mercy west hospital, stood some of the best surgeons the world had to offer. they huddled under umbrellas as the seattle weather poured down around them, talking from anything ranging from the inoperable brain tumour amelia had to remove to april obsessing over how her divorce was the worst mistake she's ever made. crouched under the umbrella was also the best ortho surgeon in seattle, callie torres, who recently moved to new york, but decided to come back for a few weeks with her girlfriend penny, to see how your colleagues were doing. meredith and arizona were chatting about how zola and sofia need to arrange a play date soon. they were disrupted by a loud beeping of a horn, that made arizona awkwardly hold onto callie. dr torres just smiled and wiped her hand away, as sad as it was, the divorce had ruined their friendship, as you can imagine, and callie breaking her promise to bring sofia home in time for christmas did not help the situation. everyone turned round and stared in amazement as before them they saw a trailer. this wasn't just any trailer though, this was the trailer. a middle aged man hopped out and screamed over to the doctors, 'have you seen hunt anywhere?' dr. grey responded informing the man that owen was in surgery. the man seemed to be in a rush, so he threw the keys to the trailer, at meredith and told her to pass on the message of how this man wants his money back for this piece of garbage, and stormed into the hospital. meredith decided to walk over to the trailer and go inside, and everyone followed behind her. the second she opened the door, memories flooded through her head. she picture derek making her coffee, she pictured them kissing in slow motion, god she missed him. arizona and callie were behind meredith, they both glanced down to the bedroom, and coincidently, they both imagined the night on valentines, where they laughed until they cried, they were so in love. arizona sighed, 'i remember that night like it was yesterday.' 'me too, arizona, me too.' callie replied. arizona felt a cold shiver run down her spine, followed by a tear in her eye. callie noticed arizonas hand was trembling, slowly, she reached down to arizonas hand, and lightly stroked her thumb, before touching the tips of her fingers, then tracing the lines on her palm. arizonas heart raced, callie quickly interlocked her fingers with arizonas, tightly gripping onto her hand. 'callie come check out this ' called penny from behind them. callie quickly let go of arizonas hand. arizona felt her entire body shake, as if a bullet had just entered her chest. callie left the trailer with penny, leaving arizona standing there, left with only memories
