magical mistake - part three

callie slammed arizona up against the wall, pushing her body towards hers, and running her hands down her trousers. arizona pushed callie backwards so they were now rolling around on the ground. softly arizonas lips touched callies, she softly brushed her lips down callies body, kissing gently she yanked callies trousers down around her ankles. callie screamed at arizonas soft touch. suddenly they heard a key unlock the x-ray room and meredith followed by her interns walk in to find a naked doctor torres and her ex wife lying on the floor. meredith immediately rushed the interns out of the room, bursting into hysterical laughing, while callie raced to find her scrubs half way across the room, and arizona still in shock of what had just happened. the door shut behind them and the interns and dr grey had left. callie and arizona didn't speak to each other. they didn't know what to say. what had they done..was this a huge mistake? did this mean anything? they clearly got divorced for a reason. arizonas pager went off and she gladly rushed out of the silent room, leaving callie speechless and reminding her of the fact she was still very much in love with her girlfriend penny..or was she? callie continued her day as normal as she could, praying she didn't bump into penny or arizona. however the entire day she couldn't shake the feeling that what happened today wasn't a mistake. she may have had a girlfriend, but she felt something for arizona she had never felt towards penny. it's was almost 6pm and callie was ready to leave the hospital as she flew home the next day. it was weird, calling new york her home, it didn't feel like her home. her pager went started beeping, she picked it up to read '911 - sofia sloan torres in trauma room one.' callie dropped her pager and ran to the trauma centre, pushing everyone out of her room as she ran towards her daughter. she got to the room to find dr robbins outside the room in tears. 'what the hell happened what's going on' callie screamed at arizona. 'their not letting us see her, she hit her head in day care, callie i dont know if she's going to be ok' arizona replied. callie flew open to door and demanded to see her daughter. dr. bailey ran over, as callie saw her daughter lying on the bed, with no pulse showing on her monitors, being resuscitated by owen hunt. 'you need to wait outside right now callie' miranda told her. arizona dragged callie out of the room, callie wrapped her arms around arizona, as arizona leaned her head against callies chest, both of them crying with more emotion than they ever had. they interlocked fingers, grabbing onto each other's hands tightly. penny ran around the corner, 'i heard what happened, is she ok?' neither callie or arizona noticed her talking, they just continued to hold each other as tightly as they could, while their daughters almost lifeless body lay in the room beside them.
