Chapter 2

Lennys POV

"Where are we going?" Sammy asked "Where are going to Pont Des Arts. It's a bridge where you take two locks and lock them together on the bridge." I explained. "What's the purpose of that?" She asked The cab driver stop. I gave him the money then we got out. "You write you and your true loves name on each of them. It stands for true love." I said. "Ohh. Sounds cute!" She said I took her hand and walked her to the bridge. "Wooow. Look at all those locks!" She said. I got out two locks from my pocket. I handed her one. "Pick a spot, Sam" I said. She went over and looked for a empty spot. "Do many people get married here?" She asked as she looked. "I would imagine so." I said. She found a spot. I went over to her. "Here?" I asked. She nodded. I got a sharpie out and we both wrote our names on our locks then we locked them together in the empty spot. "Promise me one thing.." I said turning to her so I was facing her. "What?" She asked. "Never give hope on us and your friendship with Emily." I said seriously. She looked at me for a moment. "I promise." She said. We saw some fireworks going off from the Eiffel Tower. We stood holding hands at the bridge. She was admiring the locks more than the fireworks. "Do you think many of these couples exsist today?" She whispered. "I sure hope so." I whispered back. She leaned her head onto my arm. She took in a deep breath. "I hope we do.." She mummbled. I was quiet for a moment. "I do too.." I turned to her agian. I cupped her face and she looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes. "I will always love you. I will always be by your side. I will always care for you. I will always forgive you. I'd do anything for you Sam. I love you" I said. I saw her eyes water up. I leaned in and kissed her cheek. Then one tear fell. I took my thumb and wipped it away. "I....uhm..love you too" She said between sobes. They were tears of happiness and love. I took my hands off her face and placed them in her hands. 

Sammys POV

I continued to tear up and shed a tear. I was happy. I finally felt loved. No guy ever said that to me. I used to be that ugly girl every guy hated. Now with Lenny I feel like a thousand bucks. He held my hands tight making them warm again. It was a really cold night so my hands where shaking. I looked over at the locks again. I wondered if the couples are couples today or if it was just young love. But whatever it was or is. I hope me and Lenny's keeps its promise by making us stay together. Forever.
