Chapter 8

Emilys POV

John waited on the bed as I pouted and got ready in the bathroom. Honestly I didn't really want to go hang out with them. Sammy hasn't been the Sammy I grew up with. I saw her good side and even bad side but nothing like this. We never disrespected each other. Maybe it's cause she never had a boyfriend and I never saw that side of her. I sighed. "I don't know" I mummbled to myself. I finished getting ready then went out to John. "Ready?" He asked. I nodded my head. But mentally I was thinking no. He stood up and grabbed my hand. I grabbed the door knob with my free hand and opened the door. John closed the door behind him as we left. "Starbucks?" I asked. I wanted to make sure. I sure need some coffee in me. He nodded his head. We walked quietly out of the 2nd floor. When we got to the lobby we sat in the chairs and waited. We were quiet for a while then John spoke up. "If you don't want to do this we don't have to.." He said. I saw seriousness in his eyes. Does he notice my pouting and saddness? I wondered. "No its fine. I'll keep quiet." I mummbled. He kept looking at me then he turned and looked away.

Sams POV

When we were done we went down to the lobby. As we exited the elevator I saw John and Em sitting and waiting for us. Lenny grabbed my hand and we got out and walked towards. John heard us so he turned and looked at us. He got up and went towards us. Lenny greeted John and John greeted Lenny. Then John came over and greeted me. Emily got up and hugged Lenny. Then she walked past me and gave a quick half smile. I took in the pain of not greeting my bffl with our secret handshake. I took in a deep breathe and went to Lenny. I guess I broke John and Len's conversation. John smirked than went to Em who was leaning at the door. I looked at Lenny and sighed. He lipped 'it'd be ok' I sure hope so. He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the lobby. Then Em and John walked out after.
